True charity is as anonymous as possible. When you use charity to build your brand, like Oprah or a church/mosque, it's just an advertising gimmick. I don't know anyone who hates "helping people", but we would all disagree on help actually looks like. Eg, you can't "help" Africans have good lives by giving them enough food to feed 50M for 80 years because they'll have 5,000,000 babies a year and then you still can't feed them all. That's why global hunger is a moving target. Nothing will ever be enough in a culture where having 10 babies is a survival strategy. The most ret4rded people in NA always like to say "If Elon and Bezos gave away 10B each they could solve global hunger", not realizing that people can't eat digital dollars, and 20B$ can't buy food that doesn't exist. Also, bringing the 3rd world to the first world isn't helping people as much as it's ruining our own country. If people's lives suck because their culture is 99% a-holes, why should we take them in? I wouldn't bring 1 Palestinian here. When people are raised to believe that killing humans is the ebst thing that you can do, they're just not compatible with kids who grew up learning that "sharing is caring". Charity works as a stop-gap for normally self-sufficient people who run into bad luck, that's it. It's not a 100-yr solution for an entire continent.

Let's give CBC a chance here. No election coming up, so it won't hurt for them to be honest. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?mibextid=wwXIfr&v=733417939040846&rdid=c6EV5MwNRD6YEZTJ ^Trump talking about not buying any cars, steel and aluminum from Canada anymore.... Look at Carney just sit there and listen like an abused child. I couldn't find CBC's take on that last segment 😂

In the last 3 elections, the US: nearly elected Hillary theoretically elected Biden nearly elected Kamala Can anyone explain to me how leaving Canada just to the US would be a good thing? Is saying "President Hillary" any better than saying "PM Commey"? Is saying "President Biden" any better than saying "PM Little Potato"? I could see how completely unfettered free trade might be a good thing, but no thanks to the possibility of ever having to say "Kamala is my president".

Can you explain the importance of the media in a healthy democracy, and then grade the CBC's objectivity and integrity for us, Treebeard? Can you tell us how "Hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars sent to MSM outlets on the eve of every election by one political party" was used to protect/ensure media integrity? Can you tell us how CBC stacks up against other prominent news orgs like Xinhua, TASS, NoKo News, etc? Do you think they're better in some way, or are they generally worse? If they're better in some way, what might that be? -

Can you get pregnant too, Michael? -
We wasted way more than $10k just on covid 'vaccines' for 8 yr olds named Danny. When you look at the size of the economies of Alberta and the US, and the amount of business they'd be doing together, $10K is like 2 cents for an average Canadian. CBC editors: "Smith met with Trump. Find something to b1tch about... Did she invite a terrorist to dinner? Did she accidentally call trump the president of China? Did she dress up in a bunch of different traditional American religious robes and dance like a fool every time? Did she fly a jumbo jet full of reporters across North America to cover it? Surely she did something stupid. Doesn't everyone?"

It was a $300M loan... When you consider all the hundreds of billions of dollars that Alberta put into confederation vs all they got out (not enough to buy a large double-double), it's like if your parents bought you a house, and then when they came over for dinner you handed them the grocery bill plus hourly charges for shopping, cooking and clean-up. Say and do what you want, Barqy, no one in the west gives a fk. It's over. It doesn't work for you and it definitely doesn't work for us. Why do you even care? What difference does it make to eastern Canadians if the west separates? Why don't you just make plans for afterwards?

Is N. America fated to become a "Second World"?

Our democracy is already "2nd world" by your definition. We were there 20 years ago. It just takes a bit of time for the roads and bridges to crumble to the same extent as our media, judiciary and government have. Our society is being undermined from every direction by leftists. The media is a cesspool and lying is not only unpunished, it's lavishly rewarded by the LPOC. The nuclear family is under attack from lowlife leftists who are actually trying to strip away parental rights. The police and judiciary are now political weapons instead of public servants. Racial division is at the heart of every leftist politician's screed. Liberal Party leaders are serving foreign masters with all of their punitive taxes, regulations, and other barriers to industry... Leftists laugh about how bad the media is because they have no idea how important a integrity is to a healthy democracy. At the state of our media today, we basically have 1-party rule. Eg, when the CBC sat on the story of Carney's lie about his phone call with Trump no one was surprised or even angered by it, it was just par for the course. The only surprising aspect of it was that they even spilled the beans at all Then they had the unmitigated gall to sit there and talk about the seriousness of Carney's lie, as if that was the major topic, and people even cared what sleazy pundits thought about it. The only reason they actually spilled the beans in the end was they were worried that the truth would eventually get out, so they did it after 7M ballots were already in. -
A bit of hay 😂

Danielle Smith Address to Albertans
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Trudeau and Commey aren't kissing ass when they go to the WH, they go to China to do that. OK, that's only half true... Commey will also be kissing Trump's ass in the WH when he goes down there, but he'll lie about what they talk about, and CBC will cover for him. -

If the POTUS wants to talk to a world leader, they're stupid not to listen If he wants to talk to the Alberta premier, she's stupid not to listen. Carney's going, isn't he, dumbfugg? That being said, Alberta joining the USA is a terrible mistake: Kamala Harris just lost the last election by 4% in a couple of states, and 2 or 3 in a couple of others. That's way too close for comfort. If she got along with A Cooper and B Whittaker while they were trying to pump her tires, or told 1 or 2 more good lies, or if there were only 8M illegals came in instead of 10M, or if she even had better messaging on the problem (sounded like she cared), she might be president right now. Sure, she lost this time, but who's to say that the USA doesn't elect a total friggin' dunce the next time around? Kamala is worse than Trudeau and Commey put together, and Alberta joining the USA doesn't tip the scales enough to make a difference. Can you imagine how f'd Alberta would be under a Kamala Harris gov't? OMG, no, no, no, no, no. Alberta needs to GTF outta dodge, and they need to stay out of Tombstone once they do. It was worth $1B to go there. Easily. Who said Alberta was unified with the rest of Canada? Not Albertans, that's who. Did you miss her whole speech? -
Danielle Smith Address to Albertans
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
While the negotiations are ongoing with the feds, they are going to create an "Alberta Next" panel to discuss Alberta's future within Canada, and decide how to deal with future "hostile" policies from the federal gov't. 2026 referendum on some policy proposals, and a separation option will be included if enough Albertans sign a petition. -
It's impossible to argue against anything that she said here: she mentioned what Alberta "requires" from the federal gov't, and mentioned a few recent issues: "Half a trillion dollars in investments scared away by federal gov't policies" "Canada dead last in GDP growth" "interfered in provincial matters" "police harassed gun owners" She just went off on ridiculous LPOC policies and outlined their cost to businesses and families here.

Even I'd cook for him for that much money. Sadly, the job would only last 1 day.

Send him a link to dictionary.com with those words.

No mention about how much immigration costs us every ten minutes, either. $10K would be a drop in the bucket.

Re: the photo: "Blackett did not respond to questions about how long the premier met with Trump, whether it justified the overall price tag of the trip and its return on investment and why Smith was accompanied by three others." $10K lol. FFFUUUUGGGGGG those people are stupid.

Snotty left-wing media found something to complain about 😂 $10K lol. What's that compared to hundreds of billions into equalization? Stop crying, Barqy. You got to vote, you got to support the most divisive party in Canada's history, now we get to see how it plays out.
