There were plenty of jobs where vaccine was not a requirement of the job. So to your example, there's an open door in the basement, which gives the "victim" access to food, their friends and relatives and most things enjoyed by the rest of society. If the "victim" refused to go out that door, what would the courts say then?

Are you one of those who say "protect the vulnerable" whenever the topic of masks, social distancing or restrictions come up,? Because if so, why would you object to measures taken to protect them?

And so the same could be said of those who are terrified of a vaccine.

Sick people should be at home, whether it's Covid, the flu, pneumonia or even a cold. That way, they protect "the vulnerable" from perhaps getting very sick from something that most people may only get mildly sick from. And hasn't that been the rallying cry of so many of you - "protect the vulnerable, let us get on with our lives!" Although any time anyone suggests what you can do to "protect the vulnerable" you all get pissed that you're being inconvenienced in some way.

No it wasn't. It was to slow the spread, not eliminate Covid. Slowing the spread to reduce the pressure on health care.

Nothing but death is "irreparable". A million people died in the US from Covid. When was the last time the flu killed a million people in the same time frame? Just to give you a hint, approximately 50,000 people per year die from the flu in the US.

Whilst people like you want to eliminate any kind of safeguarding and just let people die by the millions, because they're "old" or "unhealthy" and failed to take their vitamins.

Heck, they even lifted the vaccine passport requirements when cases were rising - surely that would have given them ample "excuse" if they'd wanted to keep it going. So why didn't they?
