That is exactly what is expected. I'm God, I give contradictory commands, but just pick what you like and do what I say. Applies equally to all religions, not picking on Betsy's.

Gut healthcare? I've recently been involved in a situation where a dying person was sent sent home from the hospital with absolutely no support, suffering with uncontrollable diarrhea and without the cognitive ability to take care of himself. He was literally sent home to die in his own excrement. The landlord had to have his suite cleaned as a biohazard at a cost of six grand. Have heard of several similar stories since then. As more people age into illness and the voting public becomes more aware of what they and their parents have to look forward to, gutting healthcare is not going to be a popular platform. -
Yeah, if only. But then someone would put a cloth on their head and people would lose their minds.
-
LOL. Maybe so.

JT is disappointing a lot of people. If Cons elect someone closer to Chong than Leitch, they might have a fighting chance.

Egypt strikes back. Bombs Terrorists in Libya. Bans 21 news sites, including Huff Post Arabic and al Jazeera, on grounds of supporting terrorism. They claim these sites are either affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood or funded by Qatar.
-
Yes because that way we can lose all perspective and descend into hysteria.
-
I know Muslims in Egypt who own dogs and others who operate dog amd anal rescues and regularly petition the government to enact better laws to protect animals. Its an uphill battle though.
-
You are free to be a tool of ISIS and support their goal of world domination.
-
No more absurdly illogical than your sweeping blame of all liberals.
-
I suspect he knows I like dogs, so threw that in but perhaps now. I know that culturally, Muslims are pretty cruel to animals in general, but not a lot different than many other third world countries.
-
You give yourself far too much credit. You are merely the tool of ISIS.
-
I disagree. ISIS' strict Islamic theology is based on hate and intolerance of anyone different from what they consider acceptable. ISIS wants their caliphate in the ME, and they want to screw over the West - long term, they'd like to be the one and only world power, I think, but I don't think they'll succeed.
-
That's not strictly true. A lot of them are mercenaries who may temporarily be "muslim" if they must, but their actual motivation is money/thrill and spoils of war. I personally don't get that, but apparently some do.
-
I'm sure that is in the mind of some people, but so far the political leaders haven't succumbed. Probably depends on how things go over the next few years. At least the French weren't so misguided as to go in that direction, so there's hope that Canadians won't either, but only time will tell.
-
It is the right's hate and intolerance that will drive them into extremism.
-
Because they aren't out killing gays/engaging in honor killings/etc. etc. etc. Your continued claim that they haven't let that behind, that they are just waiting till there are more of them or they get 'the call' or whatever bunk you believe, is just one more clue of your Islamophobic mindset.
-
No, blame them absolutely, they are clearly the bad guys here. What ISIS wants is for us to blame Muslims and Islam, so that we turn against them as we have against the Japanese in the past, and they have to choose to live under oppression in the West or join the ISIS version of Islam.
-
No, I believe that ISIS goal is working on you. You are the one who keeps harping on the threat of Islam, you are the one who wants us to fear and hate Muslims because any one of them might turn at any moment, you are the one who, along with ISIS, works to destroy peaceful co-existence between the West and Muslims. You are the dupe, you are the patsy, you are the powerless one. You have no power or influence over ISIS because you believe what they believe.
-
What?
-
Keep detracting, DoP. Works for ISIS, it's what they want you to do.
-
Along with their goal of getting you to hate and fear Muslims in order to alienate them from Western and progressive societies and force them back into the arms of regressive Islam. So hey, they are succeeding where you are concerned. Not succeeding where I'm concerned, so who is doing the better job of fighting Islamic terror? The ones who follow ISIS plans or the ones who don't?
-
I don't know anything about him or what he says, so I sure as heck can't determine whether or not he's an Islamaphobe - unlike you, I don't make sweeping judgements based on absolutely nothing and merely disliking the religion doesn't automatically make someone Islamophobic. It requires ridiculous beliefs such as "Sharia law is coming because someone proposed a study that included the word Islamophobia".

In Syria, 68 children are killed in an attack. Four children killed by Trump's attack on Syria in April. Six children killed by Assad's forces Unknown number of children killed by Syrian and Russian bombs 10 Children killed in Muslim terror attack in Manchester 1201 children have been killed by coalition forces in Iraq. Since 2000, 2,154 Palestinian children and 134 Israeli children have been killed 35 Children killed by Israeli forces in 2016 May 14, Christian Militias kill 30 civilians Christian Militias target children in civil war 10 Children killed in Nice by Islamic terrorists 923 children die in Afghanistan conflict in 2016 It seems that unless the child victims are Western/Christian and killed by Islamic terrorists, they don't count - they aren't featured in the media for days on end and they aren't raised on this board to beat up Muslims and 'the left'. The propensity humans have for violence and brutality seems unending.

Should Islam disappear from the collective conscious tomorrow, would ISIS suddenly abandon their quest, or their methods? I doubt it; they'd find another justification.
