  1. Turns out Sweden's Covid response puts them on par with worst hit countries in death rate (UK, France, US) and their economy suffered more than almost anywhere in Europe.  Government officials have also misled their citizens, and the world, about their goals and the outcome of their plan.  True agenda and poor outcome is revealed through inter-governmental correspondence and contradicts public statements.

Dishonest people will look at European countries numbers as a whole when it suits their position and ignore them when they don't.

There's not debating that Sweden's death rate is amongst the highest. But because they didn't shut down they're great. But the likes of Spain, the UK and France suck.

Like with other developing nations deaths have reduced greatly since the Spring.

In fact it's only Banana Republics, Dictatorships and the US that still have a stubbornly high COVID-19 Death rate.

Yes, pretty pictures designed to reassure the public, in and outside of Sweden, vs. information on the decisions that were made out-of-sight of the public, and statistics on how those decisions affecte people and the economy.

Sweden has had 58.36 deaths per 100,000; the closest other Nordic country had 11.58.  Sweden's economy has contracted 8.2%, as of June 2020; their closest neighbors - who locked down - have ranged from 4% to 6% contraction, with far fewer deaths.

Hard to know how anyone could consider Sweden's experience a success.
