Ok heres my take on this topic. And it reads similar to "Apocalypse Now" My wife is from Nanning,Guangxi autonomous region of southern China wich gives me unique insight(Nanning is about a two hour train ride to north Vietnam). China did support North Vietnam during the war against the Americans(it was the anti-American thing to do).But soon after the American departure they started going after each other! According to my wife thousands of Chinese died fighting against the Vietnamese after the Nam war.I assume there would be similar numbers on the other side! Heres the twisted part.According to my wife,the USA is supporting Vietnams position now(because its the anti-Chinese thing to do). Why aren't the Americans trying to be the peacemaker hear(their so-called traditional roll). Or are the US intentionally trying to escalate this conflict? WWWTT

Does England have the same total political representation as Canada? Meaning municipal,provincial and federal(upper and lower houses) combined? WWWTT

Yes actually where music and art start getting involved it becomes more complicated. Another example would be Marylin Manson,Ozzy,Black Sabbath and even rock'n roll for that matter going all the way back to the 50's. Publication and distribution of material plays a role aswell in all of this too. But going back to your flyer example.Why would you distibute a flyer in the first place? WWWTT

Then why make the comment if it was not meant to hurt someone? In Canada we wear seat belts and have air bags in the cars we drive,aswell there are speed limits posted because of safety. We all understand that we have to have cars and transportation but there must be proper steps taken to help promote safety!Aswell there has to be some level of enforcement!As far as I'm concerned the same applies to speach! I do not believe it is that simple. Nor is it that difficult to understand. I believe this argument should be debated with examples,or I should say I will rely on example to debate my point. I'm going to risk getting kicked off this site doing this but here goes! I believe an example everyone is familiar with is the Danish cartoon artists work about Mohammed whearing a turban/bomb. The artist portrayed a religuos prophet as a mad man using a technology that did not even exist during his lifetime.And this portrayal of Mohammed is therefore false,thats a no brainer(among other reasons aswell).Is that freedom of speech,or is that making a false statement with the sole intent to harm or belittle the people who follow the Islamic faith. I must remind everyone here I am only using this example to argue the limitations of freedom of speech and in no way am I expessing any approval for this such artists work! WWWTT

If a homosexual man commits suicide over something like that would you care then? Or would you still argue that there is insufficient evidence to prove such actions were in any way a contributing factor? WWWTT

Why? Why should it ever be allowed to let people/interest groups/organizations be vocal against people of a different lifestyle,color,race,religion,etec,etc, that are just minding their own business and not harming anyone? WWWTT

The question still remains that "Why was the US attacked" Another question to ask is if we help one nation that was attacked,can we change or direct that countries policy or circumstance to prevent from future incidents from happening.After all it wasn't Canada that was attacked,should our help come without any strings attached? Furthermore,to this date I have not seen,heard or read any evidence other than circamstantial evidence indicating whom was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. WWWTT

You did not read my previous comments where I have stated I checked out the definition on wikipedia.They are not clear.They even suggest that a better term to use is islamic militant or something like that for islamic followers who use violence against others. Unless you can provide any further support for your claim then the term "Islamism" does not include the use of violence against innocent people. Furthermore I do not believe "Islamism" is outlawed or banned in Canada.Or if the Canadian government has deemed followers of Islamism to be terrorists. WWWTT

You have a link to back up your claim or is this your perception? I checked out wikipedia and it is not clear. Aswell can you provide a site stating that "Islamism" is outlawed or banned in Canada? Are "Islamists" deemed to be terrorists? I am very familiar with the term "Islamic terrorist",but as far as I know at this point an "Islamist" is a follower of Islam who lives by strict Islamic ritual.Or another way of describing the term can be an orthodox Islamic.The terrorist uses violence against others,the other doesn't. I don't think venting out your frustration over the Canadian constitution, how it is interpreted and applied will change anything? What about improving society? After all if the crime rate were to plumet wouldn't our society greatly improve? Or is this task somehow left up to an elected government,and at different levels municipal,provincial and federal? I find it very hard to believe that the body responsible for applying the law would completely deny any responsibility for making observation(and then conveying its findings) for the purpose of suggesting areas/circamstance or parts thereof where improvements can be made. Actually it would be very disturbing if this in fact was true! Would this process actually leed to a self fullfilling demise? After all if we lived in a eutopia or actually achieved a nirvana within our society would their be any need for our justice system and all the related bodies(or at least a much smaller version)?
