  1. Are you saying that criminals or potential criminals are not commiting crimes because they are attenting a public protest? Or that the participants of the OCCUPY protest are criminals? If so and you can not prove it then that would make your comment slander. Please clarrify! WWWTT
  2. Thats because most potential criminals called their defence lawyers when they heard about the new conservative legislation being proposed. Upon advise from their representation, most potential criminals decided to "hold off" from committing any criminal offences! Furthermore I heard a rumour that some of these potential criminals are seeking to retain a special interest lobyist to convince the government to amend their new legislation to the criminal code. Man if only those potential criminals used their knowledge and resources for good instead of evil? WWWTT
  3. Wrong thread man,try looking in local politics. WWWTT
  4. Oh by the way I saw the scetch on "this hr has 22 min." last night and yep he used bad judgement! I can't believe this guy got the most votes! I don't know which is more funny,Ford or the people who voted for him! WWWTT
  5. Then why did he dial 911? As far as I know 911 is only used if someones life is in jeopardy or a very dangerous occurance or should only be used in such cases(emergency). Man this is the freekin Mayor of the largest city of Canada! Why is he using such poor judgement? Is judgement even important when your a politician? Does he feel he is more important than someone who's life may actually be in danger? If he has a legitament concern/complaint he can still make it to the police! Is he not aware of this? God help the citizens of Toronto! I have a feeling his poor judgement will continue, and will be there come election time! WWWTT
  6. Ya you know what, try learning Mandarin Chinese and you'll have this new found appreciation of language complexities! Good luck! WWWTT
  7. Ya you know what buddy your real borderline! On the edge! I'm not going to assume anything about you anymore and take you for what you say from now on. Good luck! WWWTT
  8. This "Frank Klees" guy you mention is pretty much crossing the floor by announcing his intention for the speakers job! Every MPP knows this scenario and he is breaking ranks for his own interest! It will be interesting to see how the votes go in Queens park. WWWTT
  9. This is incorrect. Boges reffered to "MPP" which means provincial. Aswell Boges had condraticted himself by stateing Garth Turner,Garth was never an MPP. WWWTT
  10. Oh I get it,I'm supposed to understand when "you" are trying to be controversial! But when I add a question mark at the end of a statement its OK for you not to "get it"! WWWTT
  11. Be carefull how you word such comments! I understand the point you are making but at the same time you sound like you want to commit a violent criminal offence in Canada! You could have made your point without a negative misinterpretation if you put a little more thought into them! Actually I believe if an American citizen was here in Canada and did commit a crime and was given a jail sentence, then yes he/she could be transferred to the US to serve out their sentence there. As far as the criminal picking out which pen. he/she actually gets to serve their term out in? Actually I do vaguely remember a case about an American whom was convicted of several murders in Canada(Ng).He was supposed to be sent back to California or somewhere in the US that has the death penalty. But he made some kind of humanitarian plea and for a long time the Canadian government couldn't deport him. There's another similar case about a Canadian who was convicted of murder in Texas and was given the death sentence. The conservative government decided to not bother asking/pressuring the Americans to extradite him to Canada to serve out his sentence. This caused some controversy in parliament since it went against Canadian tradition/policy because we do not believe in the death sentence in Canada.(I believe that this case also started a rumour about the conservatives wanting to bring the death penalty back to Canada!) WWWTT
  12. Ok sounds like a clear case so far,but then whats the problem with him coming here and completing his sentence? WWWTT
  13. Well its not a done deal yet but it looks like a possible scenario my older brother told me about after the provincial election may become reality. And that is one of the opposition members running for the house speaker position and actually getting it. This scenario would take a vote away from the opposition, resulting in ties for future votes forcing the speaker to break the tie and traditionaly the speaker votes in favour of the government. Thanks Ontario PC! WWWTT
  14. What if a conservative is elected speaker of the house? WWWTT
  15. That may be true, but there have bein guilty pleas in the past that have bein overturned because those pleas were made under extreme stress and keep in mind this guy was locked up a long time and possibly tortured. WWWTT
  16. Thanks for the info. This does change my view slightly! I guess this boils down to wether or not he knowingly killed an unarmed medic.(and if it was un/avoidable) I will not comment on this since I lack the adequate info into Kadrs court findings. Thankyou WWWTT
  17. Then don't the same rules apply to Kadr? WWWTT
  18. It would be interesting to see what would happen to the power grid in and around that area of Miss. if there is no electricity added with a growing demand on the grid! Did the voters think of that before they started this "not in my backyard" campaign against the gas fired power generating plant? Hey I'm not saying McGuinty did not intentionally break a promise he could't keep, what I am saying is that some people will believe anything.(of by the way he did keep his other promise to get rid of the coal plant that was there) But hey we're talking about Ontario voters. We elected Harris twice so why am I not suprised? WWWTT
  19. WWWTT

I don't think anybody hates you man.

  20. Why do I find this hard to believe? WWWTT
  21. Can you provide a reliable link? WWWTT
  22. This is an incorrect statement. In the Canadian justice system(aswell as other western countries) there are different degrees, such as first degree, second,or manslaughter. I am not sure but I wouldn't be suprised if a military court even adhere to some kind of similar standard aswell. And I believe much of this debate has to do with how the public percieves a soldier killing another soldier. If an Afgan soldier kills a Canadian soldier is that murder? But if a Canadian soldier kills an Afgan soldier wouldn't that be murder aswell? And if not then why the double standard? WWWTT
  23. Thats almost like blaming the victim of a crime! Its very possible that some of those people actually thought they could not afford to buy a house with such a small down payment but were convinced by the loan company/bank to go ahead with the purchase. Happens all the time! WWWTT
  24. I bear no responsibility for your misinterpreting of what I have written! My intent for this thread was about the "perception" that Canadians will have "about" the gun registry "after" it is gone. If you had thought that I was supporting, advocating for or attempting to re-initialize this piece of legislation than you have failed to properly coherently attempt to read/recognize what I have actually written or was trying to convey! Your attempt to try and discredit me because you do not like my opinion is typical of those who fail to obtain anything "concrete" to promote their argument! In other words your wasting my time! WWWTT
