Let me ask you something,after reading this do you actually intend to convince anyone that the participants of OCCUPY are somehow less intelligent? And who are you using as a benchmark-youself? However if I was to make anything from this it would be that perhaps upcoming generations are spending much less time with their eyeballs glued to the tube as previous ones were and therfore are less likely to be brainwashed. Agreed. From my perspective OCCUPY is maintaining a peacefull protest and wish to continue this. Any effective protest must attain some level of inconvenience to have any success. And OCCUPY is exerting a timed/measured tolerable amount and their persistance is achieving the goal of exerting the "neccessary" inconvenience! If there is any violence it will be initiated from the establishment. Thats a no-brainer. WWWTT

I am sure the people who dish out these awards are aware of this,but since 90% of people in the west are brainwashed,they probably feel that its neccessary to hand out these awards to celebrities. Tehran and Beijing I believe do not have an OCCUPY protest. However Canada does have a much harsher climate from November to say sometime in March. This will probably pick up steam again in the spring. WWWTT

I believe(not sure of exact dates) that there was media coverage about anti black policies from the southern US in the 50's.That would fit into the scenario that I was describing. I am sorry I can not produce other examples other than wikileaks at this time. However wikileaks has somehow bein able to establish itself as a "reliable" source.Quite the acheivment for a soley internet news source. Television in my opinion is still the king of media.They have the greatest impact on the masses(a picture is worth 1,00 words) but there is also radio and newspaper to a lesser degree.Unless of couse there is a widespread power blackout. And the other point you want me to detail is the media attention/lack of properly communicating. I believe in my opinion the media is also part of the 1%!So the media may not even bother trying to convey OCCUPY message. An excellent related issue would be OCCUPY Hollywood and the overvalued amount many acters receive!I don't believe you will see many actors or DIVAS supporting OCCUPY any time soon(conflict of interest)! I believe the 1% clearly understand this protest is against them and the tax shelters,subsidies,grants,etc,etc that they receive.Aswell I believe OCCUPY is also protesting the different levels of government for allowing/blind eye this to continue(conservatives). Many politicaly planted in the centre also approve/believe current large corporate policies(liberal,democrat).This would align them against OCCUPY. WWWTT

This is an incorrect summarization!Or a partial mis diagnoses. Durring the 50's,60's and 70's the media was widely broadcasting the injustices of the day.Example would be "the shot that was heard around the world"(American soldier judge/jury/executioner in Vietnam) However today western governments are very quick to stamp out any unsencored media(wikileaks). If the media does not show you the injustices will you recognize them?And if the media does not report an injustice then is it? OCCUPY has a freekin mountain to climb,because people are brainwashed by the media! WWWTT

Regardless of our ability/inability to understand OCCUPY or share their sence of achievable goals through protest does not mean that the participants of OCCUPY forfeit their right to participate in peacefull protest! Hey at first I did not understand Mandarin dialect chinese,but after lots of educating I am starting to understand a little. I believe the same would apply to OCCUPY. This protest is against the 1%,not the 99%.And if you do not understand this protest it would be safe to assume you are not part of the 1%. In my opinion this guy is not qualified to do this job! Regardless of what some may think here Canada has two official languages! The Auditor General is not a regionaly elected official soley representing a geographical/population of Canada(MP,MPP,regional councilor,reeve or mayor). The AG is responsible for "all" of Canada! Again in my opinion I believe Harper is playing to his base again and continuing to drive a wedge further between French/English Canada! This last appointment would make him the most anti French PM,maybe say since WWII. WWWTT

From my understanding,yes this job requires the ability to speak French.I am not sure if it also requires the ability to read and write French? An MP is an elected oficiall so I believe the elections act or regulating authority has much more lose requirments.I believe the political parties have their own requirments or standards for those attaining a greater status within the party. Yes actually I saw this thread aswell. The problem with it is that its not titled properly! I should not have to click onto each just to find out what its about! This has to be one of the most controversial comments in this thread! I am glad you make it! In my opinion this comment is at the core of the OCCUPY movement! And essentially the entire debate will/should soley revolve around this one comment. You make it sound like these 1% have won a lottery/dumb luck/sarendipity happy go lucky aren't we all enjoying a better world! Thats a freekin load your trying to shuvle down our throats and nobody's buying it! The 1% are cut throat and ruthless and feel everyone in the world owes them something. They attained their wealth through extrapulating wealth from overvalued services rendered and creating an environment to entrap consumers and investors! I humbly agree with this comment. However I disagree with the intent you are implying from shareholders. Actually its in my opinion that the intent from shareholders is the opposite that you may be assuming and in fact has contributed/accelerated/catylist to the despair! WWWTT
