Heres a test you can try. Imagine a strong socialist movement in Canada. Do you think another socialist country like say China attacking Canada would strengthen the socialist movement here? Ya thought so! So what makes you think it would work in Iran? And what always kills me about these crazy ideas is that you are not thinking about what an "attack" means! You do not know much about Iranian history. First off they are a democratic country. The extremists in Iran need anti Iranian US,Isreal,Canada etc,etc and trade embargos to strengthen support within their country. Do you believe the west wants a peacefull and prosperous Iran,or middle east for that matter? WWWTT

Actually the interest rate is the devil. Practically every business at some time assumes some amount of debt in order to continue making money-Its actually good business sence! As far as currency value goes it would be better to see a lower dollar!Since we do not see any benefit of a high dollar at the consumer level-Or what I call the heart or engine of the economy level! A high dollar seriously hurts our export and manufacturing sector(Ontario and Quebec) and only helps Alberta and Saskatchewan. WWWTT

I think your right and this is why the west is pissed they are developing nuclear technology! Essentially Iran is diversifying and is poised to become a world super power. Attaining a nuclear deterent for protection is essential for a super power. I don't think we can stop this,nor should we. If there was a problem it could be the interpretation or what the intention of the Iranian government may be. You can thank George W bush and the American government for that(and the British government aswell) Isreal should be doing more on a diplomatic front too. Actually this whole problem in my opinion can be solved diplomaticlly. It will take time,but I believe it can be done. WWWTT

This story actually scares me! The Harper government seems to be sticking its neck way out on this one! Supporting Isreal is one thing but to send military aid and risk Canadian interest and lives on their behalf?And they have not even bein attacked? Keep in mind that if Canada did this we would then become an enemy of Iran!And open ourselves up to attack from them! Harper and the conservatives are putting Isreals interest ahead of Canadas! I actually agree! But when the government focuses more on punishment instead of creating opportunity then where are they to work themeselves to? Many people in this world have little or find little interest in the persuite of happiness because the opportunity to achieve is too dificult. WWWTT

Bang on! My wife has bein in Canada since Set.12 2011(she is from Nanning,China)and she started work last week through a job placement centre. Since she arrived she has constantly searched for work and will accept any opportunity She only earns 10.25/hr but she enjoys being productfull and participating! This is what Canada needs more of! The point I am getting at is that this Russell person is making much about nothing!And so are you! Everything turned out without much controversy on the part of the GG.
