This has to be the worst last several weeks in conservative history! Scandal after scandal can't be good! And together with a united,young and strong NDP opposition Canadians are invigerated with the reality that change for the best for all Canadians is just a few steps away! NDP have regained their leed in Quebec and are now leeding in BC and prairies(I guess that excludes Alberta) and are second in Ontario. Liberals are hurting bad and it appears that the conservatives have stagnated.To me this is a strong sign that the conservatives have peaked back on May 2nd and are slowly slipping down. I guess if hunting accidents happen numerous amounts of times some people will easily dismiss them. Is the same true about intentional murder or manslaughter with a firearm? I'm going to guess that more than 1,000 people are "intentionaly" shot every year in Canada and the US,why does not anyone easily brush this off? WWWTT

I find it funny that some people easily dismiss shooting someone as an accident. Let me clarify. When Cheney pulled the trigger,what was he looking/aiming at? Was there a duck/dear or some other game right beside the guy that got shot.Or did he actualyy believe that this guy was game?If you shoot someone when hunting you screwed up big time!And as far as I'm concerned if this guy couldn't even get a hunting trip right.How did he ever become VP of the US???? This would be immpossible for him to do! There are to many members and MPs that are dead set against this! Yesterday I got this robocall from Kyle Seeback(Brampton west conservative MP) to participate in a over the phone town hall meeting. Today I got another one but it was for the conservative five year plan to eliminate the deficit.(I declined to both because of time restrictions). Why all of a sudden are the conservatives trying to get the public involved in their propaganda machine? Does this have something to do with Mulcair just getting elected to the official leader of the opposition? And where are all the attack adds from the conservatives targeting Mulcair? By the way the first I heard about this town hall phone conference was about a month ago for one about bill C-377.My number was on the list but didn't connect.The next was for Peggy Nash one week before the convention.I wanted to ask a question but I think it was too much of a hot button topic so they screened me out. Any thoughts and/or anyone getting these and/or ever participated in one? WWWTT

This is a very interesting case! First off because many womans groups have claimed(and rightfully so) that beauty pageants are sexist!Enforcing stereo types and belittleing the importance of the female role in society! However bearing/raising children is a crutial role for ensuring our existance so we still can not dismiss its importance.Obviously women have the choice. It would be very interesting if the transgender individual whom was disqualified filed a lawsuite. Would the pageant claim that this individual is incapable of bearing children?Or that she just simply lied on her application? This can go different ways and would be a good test of constitutional rights in Canada! WWWTT

Well OK then lets do some simple math. Health care,education and infrastructure account for how much of total government expenditures(all levels of government)?70%,75% or 80%?But does the federal government not take in the greatest amount of revenue?I just did my taxes recently and the federal portion was unquestionably the highest ratio.In Ontario they do take in less for the HST however I do believe that the feds have more sources of revenue.And then there are property taxes to help with municipal level spending and education. Obviously for there to be a fair distribution of capital there must be transfer payments from the feds(expecially so since generating this revenue is dependant on provincial obligations!) This is fairly obvious and it is hard to argue around the numbers.However Martin was justified in his actions and he did avoid making tax cuts and eliminated some tax write offs indirectly increasing taxes aswell as promising to return transfer payments gradually to previous rates.In addition he did make other cuts to spending. This I believe is something all leaders face regardless of what party they are from. It can be argued that whomever does this best will get the most support at the polls! I know Jack was able to finally pull it off! WWWTT

On the floor the word was that Nathan Cullen brought his vote over to Mulcair and not Topp(final ballot) because Mulcairs support in the west is strong! Another privilage from being on the floor! Aswell Mulcair is the real deal!In our brief meeting he showed me that he has compassion and sincerety!And to add my collegues where all in his camp(and dragged me there too) and I will not dismiss the knowledge of my seniors! Other people I met yesterday. Brian Topp,We met in his campaign headquarters.I went to look for him there when voting for the floor was closed(final ballot) and he was at his desk by himself in the back corner texting.I asked him about bil C-377 and he came right out to tell me he was not imformed.Overall he was pleasant when we talked but he did not immpress me.However I should not look too much into this because this was durring the final ballot between him and Mulcair.He must have had a tremendous amount of pressure. Don Martin from CTV news,we met on the floor.I did a brief televised interview for him and CTV news about the delays during the third ballot.He is a very good man and a has a good balance between profensionalism and relaxed approachs(sorry this is the best way I can articulate his style at this time)!I was very suprised by him and it would be my pleasure to speak with him again!Aswell I will follow him more now on CTV! Oh and I forgot to mention Steven Paikin from TVO.He was in a rush and tried to answer a couple of questions but I caught him at a bad time so it would be unfair of me to judge him on this brief meeting WWWTT
