No actually the way I remember it the US was becoming frustrated the Viet Cong continueslly fled into Laos and Cambodia.So Nixon ended up bombing what they believed was the Ho Che Min trail through those countries.Killing hundreds of thousands of civilians. Maybe the numbers are off but they are still up there. May I point out aswell that the US invaded Vietnam. WWWTT

What are you talking about here man?!?! The Soviets were fighting the Taliban and Osama bin Laden,was that not helping world peace? The Soviets were backing a non Islamic extremist governemnt in Afganistan that was fighting militants(in Afganistan)that were also infiltrating into the Soviet union for many years attempting to break up the Soviet union. You aswell failed to regognize a parallel I had made with the current situation in regards to Pakistan helping the Taliban in Afganistan.I should also point out that the US has made raids into Pakistan numerous times and will continue to do so(side note here would be that during the Vietnam war the US also took military action in neighbouring Laos and Cambodia) But do I have to remind you about this aswell?Are you on drugs or drinking or something?And how old are you?
