Protests, police provocateurs, masks, etc
WWWTT replied to jacee's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
British and European law is not applicable in Canada. The Canadian constitution is unique to Canada Therefore any rulings made in Europe are not transferable to Canadian law. Its in my opinion that kettling can cause serious problems and will result in many costly lawsuits and in turn legislation may be passed in the future to ban the practice. Keep in mind that this tactic is relatively new to Canadian law enforcement, therefore new to how it relates to our constitution. WWWTT -
How fair is the student protest?

This topic should not be in federal politics. Provincial issue therefore provincial politics WWWTT -
Protests, police provocateurs, masks, etc
WWWTT replied to jacee's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
And there never will be.Unless of course someone independently taped and the footage gets released. In Canada the crown and police somehow "misplace" evidence and "misword" statements. An excellent example would be that poor Polish guy that was tasered to death at the Vancouver aeroport. After that incident the police released a public report/statement.After the police report was well documented,a phone video surfaced contradicting the police report. This happens far too often and the people who tape the questionable actions and release to the public are the real heroes! If anyone in Canada sincerely believes the crown and/or police would ever stand up for constitutional rights is very naive! WWWTT -
What does 'Support the Troops' really mean?
WWWTT replied to GostHacked's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
So I am still correct. Some may argue that Canada is still not a complete independent country,NATO being an example. Another flaw in your line of argument is the fact that the English/American colonists invaded French Canada(Ontario,Quebec,Nova Scotia,New Brunswick, upstate New York, etc, etc) in order to annex. You ignore this fact so I can only conclude you mean Canada post English annex? I drew the line at 1867. WWWTT -

Go back to comment #37 and reply to that one before furthering this debate. WWWTT -
I particularly look at the "above operating cost" for the mission that is at 100 million. Misleading Canadians by 50 mill. is shame full! I wouldn't trust McKay with a freekin penny! WWWTT

NDP Leading Tories in Newest Poll
WWWTT replied to nittanylionstorm07's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I am not sure. You have to look at the official opposition. How was the official opposition doing? How were they trending? As I recall they were not doing that good. They had their ups and down but the bad thing for them was that they couldn't capitalize on their ups and the conservatives and NDP did the only capitalizing on their downs. Fast forward several years and now we have a different field with different players that can play hard ball with the conservatives and punch hard? Not so much fun anymore being a conservative is it? Oh ok,Derek was asking me the day of the week. I guess when you know you are getting laid off you would be very concerned as to what day it was going to happen so you can start circulating your resume. WWWTT -

Why is an specific date important to you Derek? Why are you ignoring the trend? Better yet why are you ignoring the impotent conservative trends in the polls? WWWTT -

NDP Leading Tories in Newest Poll
WWWTT replied to nittanylionstorm07's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You know what I am talking about! Stop playing games! The conservatives are hurting and there is no end in sight. But somehow conservatives feel that because there will be no election soon, somehow the poll numbers will swing in their favour over the next couple of years. Sound about right Derek? WWWTT -
What does 'Support the Troops' really mean?
WWWTT replied to GostHacked's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I guess the Conservatives don't care about Canadian sovereignty? When the conservatives say "We support the troops" they must mean "We support the troops ability to destroy the enemy" WWWTT -
Good one! Depending on the country of origin I wonder what kind of response you would get?Or the class the individual comes from? WWWTT

BNA did not happen until 1867. Where was this invasion in 1877? Aswell I threw in a little disclaimer too WWWTT -

Excellent idea! I would amend this however. If Canada was invaded then a referendum would not apply. Keep in mind Canada was never invaded by any country(some conditions apply to my statement)! WWWTT -
NDP Leading Tories in Newest Poll
WWWTT replied to nittanylionstorm07's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I bet there's a lot of liberals out there fuming over these poll numbers. Rural/Western Canada was always a real tuff nut to crack for the liberals and to see the NDP kicking at the knees of the conservatives must be turning them green with envy. Guess I was right by always saying that the conservatives sound worried for the last several months, here's the proof. WWWTT
