Obama IS a socialist, he is simply forced to work within the limits he is faced with. He knows he can't confiscate ALL wealth like they did in Cuba. There are a lot of people in the world who envy wealth and want to steal it. He is simply giving that concept a pretty face. It's sad, because America was the last country left on earth where even poor people didn't begrudge the rich, instead they aspired towards it. Humans may or may not contribute to climate. Chances are, we do to a small degree. But not even close to what has been sold to us. The thing about environmentalism is - it makes people feel important in their lives. It's a big old world out there, and small people with small accomplishments need to feel like they matter. Real people with real accomplishments aren't as concerned about climate, because they are too busy accomplishing things, and they know that the earth will be Most of the world is made up of small followers. Their lives don't amount to much, so they latch onto things like Coldplay and "saving the world" to feel like they matter. The nation of the united states is so unfortunately stricken by a bad racial past. Thanks to the Democrats, this division continues to this day. Affirmative action (racial discrimination) has been rampant in government for decades. This is what happens: the public sector is the new "black middle class". Teachers and government workers - people who rely on higher taxes to continually improve their own standard of living. What you have is a whole swath of people who live off of the wealth of others. That's what government is. Obama loves this. That's why he expanded government so rapidly. More black government workers and less wealth creators is the recipe for endless democrat governments. You may say this is racist, but really, who is racist? If people were hired for merit instead of for race, then we wouldn't have to call democrats racist.
