Gee, ya think I am a bit biased? Actually less so than you might think. Although I probably agree with Conservatives on most issues, I am openminded to both parties.
But frankly, I am astounded at the bad rap Stephen Harper gets in the media.
Think for a moment: Martin called a snap election prior to getting any answers on ADSCAM in Quebec -- mere weeks after the formation of the new conservative party. The Conservatives barely had a chance to christen the new party let alone develope any meaningful policy and are then accused by the Libs of having a "hidden agenda". Now Martin wants to wait until all the answers are in before calling an election. This might have been a perfectly legitimate argument last June before he called his first election.
And somehow, amidst clear evidence of Liberals stealing federal funds, clearly manipulative electioneering by Paul Martin, Stephen Harper remains the media's target.
I don't get it.
