Oh, I get it. It's we who are the conspiracy theorists and you are the one with the truth. Meh, I still don't care.
-
Shitty, I was hoping you'd say Syria.
-
...and where is home?
-
Well, I'm glad you asked. Let's see..."what kind of human am I"? I suppose you could say that I don't believe anybody really. You're all twisted up in conspiracy theories, while I have none of that angst. Nobody's perfect - not the North Koreans, Europeans, Chinese or Russians - not even the Islams, so we all have to choose a side. I'm simply a person who looks at the world as whole and knows what side I want to be on. You, and many people here are so wrapped up in "how terrible the western powers, and western philosophy is", that you'll jump straight into the arms of people who actually vow to kill westerners. There are people here who ring their hands about the horrors poor Omar faced by being kept awake (earns $10Mil), yet not a peep about the Canadians who are beheaded by Omar's people ($0.00 paid to free them - BTW). Not me! I'm just a simple guy who would rather live free(ish) in the west, than be terrorized by muslims or ruled by communists, socialists, or marxists. I'm a libertarian - I don't care what you do, what you believe or who you sleep with - I just don't want to pay for it!

I wish I had started recording all the various things you say you've done and places you've been.

No, there is no proof of the amount of people dead by Khadr's hand, My response is directly countering all you people who want to absolve him of everything. There is never going to be full proof on anything that happens in a war, however, logic and common sense would suggest that Khadr is responsible for more deaths than just one man.
-
You're so hell bent on protecting everything about this guy that you're now inventing scenarios to completely absolve him of everything. Wait a minute though - Now that I read it again, it all makes sense; Omar was just tagging along with his dear ol' pop, dad got into some sort of trouble and in an effort to protect him son, he leaves Omar with a babysitter. Omar and the babysitter - doing nothing wrong of course, get ambushed by the Yanks. Omar's babysitter does everything to protect little Omar and that means emptying his gun and throwing all his grenades - while Omar presumably hid (we don't know where or why they had so much ammo and grenades, and I guess we shouldn't ask). The Americans shoot the nanny and Omar - they proceed to save Omar's life, only so they can drag him back to the USA and trump up charges on the kid.
-
Bull! In fact chances are, if he was building and setting bombs, he killed many more people than just the one US solider.
-
Yes, there are very few "secrets of the universe" that are as confusing as the feminist's love for Islam.
-
Liberals, and of course liberals wont play that card. Have a look around, look at Sweden, Germany and anywhere else in the western world, muslim men rate higher to these people than western women - we see it every day. This is no surprise. Where is the outrage from feminists?
-
I'm not "giddy" about the situation - as you people are. It seems that a victory for Khadr, which is clearly a victory for Islam, is a victory for you - is that a fair statement?
-
You're wholly incapable of giving an opinion or even an independant thought. Yes, you agree with the law - we all get that. But what is you're opinion of the person - Omar Khadr? Are you happy for him? would you be his friend? Do you think he's deplorable, but justified? C'mon, give us something.
-
Ok, personally, I don't think you know what town you live in, let alone know the law, but what do you "personally" think of the Khadr situation?
-
I know that you guys want to gloat about this and about the law, but not one of Omni, Jacee, Hot enough or eyeball has come close to saying "yeah, it's a bad situation, but I guess the law has spoken". Instead, you people are jacked, you're excited for this muslim terrorist. You're not pleased that the law prevailed, you're happy that a terrorist got rewarded for killing an American solider. - it's really kinda sick.
-
That's a good point. It'll be lost on most people, but that idea surely came into play.
-
Exactly, there is a huge difference between being "ordered" to do something and "willingly offering" to do something - you'd think this would be obvious common sense. The gov't should have fought it to the very end and if they lost, pay up the money and tell Khadr to stick the apology up his ass. At least there is some dignity in that, at least the armed forces would know that the government doesn't kiss ass to terrorists. I could be more ashamed of our Prime Minister right now.
-
WTF aren't you understanding about my posts? Geez, I thought it was clear the first time, then after explaining a second time - wow dude! Just how many mercury injections have you had?
-
I don't give a shit what the courts said, my post was directed at your excitement for this douche bag's good fortune and the manor in which our PM (another douche bag) handled it. This POS and his family was given chance after chance and shit on this country every time, now he say's "this restores his reputation"...with who? With the taxpayers who are flipping the bill, the veterans that he's tried killing - and likely still would, the government that is shamed into apologizing? No, while you idiots shed tears of enjoyment for this killer, this piece of trash is laughing at us. The only reputation that he's restored is that of a sociopathic terrorist.
-
You people who are supporting this make me fuKng sick, you really do. WTF is the matter with you that you actually fuKng gloat about what this guy has done to us. He is a terrorist, we know that, you know that - and you love the little fuKr. Now, I can take losing the money, but to have our Liberal government actually side with this POS is staggering. I would've at least respected Trudeau if he'd faught the case- win or lose. But not only did they side with them, they are appologizing, they are covering up details and they slipped it under the radar so the Americans could do nothing about it. And you dumb fUkng liberals are cheering it on and even gloating - my god, what is matter with you? You are the same people who hate our military personnel and would literally spit on them for protecting you, they're the people I really feel for today. - well congratulations, our Prime Minister just spat on them for you.

No, I fully expect the Dems to try any and everything to have him removed. I'm sure they are investigating whether Trump ever tore a tag off a bed mattress.

Native complaints about Canada's 150th
Hal 9000 replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
"Diamond company DeBeers already pays the Attawapiskat council nearly $3 million a year for a town of under 2,000 people. Five years ago, DeBeers gave the community 22 housing units after former Chief Theresa Spence declared a housing emergency. Spence (whose Idle No More hunger strike made her famous) was only too happy to tour southern reporters around the walled tents and uninsulated shacks some residents were living in during the winter. But what most newscasts missed were the empty DeBeers units that Spence and council couldn’t figure out how to distribute. The mining company has also done over $350 million in business with companies at Attawapiskat since 2006 to supply DeBeers with helicopters, camp catering, fuel, dynamite and other supplies. Many of those businesses are owned by the band. The proceeds are supposed to go towards new housing, sanitation and recreation. But by the looks of Attawapiskat, the money isn’t making it to where it’s supposed to go. Moreover, one in seven adults at Attawapiskat is employed by DeBeers – 20% of the mine’s workforce. Ottawa sends the community another $18 million or more a year, plus more for new houses. Then there is the million or more from the Ontario government and a similar amount from a revenue-sharing agreement for proceeds from aboriginal casinos in southern Ontario. It’s not uncommon for the Attawapiskat council to receive $30 million annually, or somewhere around $18,000 per resident. A typical non-aboriginal community in Northern Ontario would have revenues of about $3,500, mostly from its own taxes. It wouldn’t have to pay for its residents’ clinics or housing, the way the First Nation does, but it would have to pay some of its own infrastructure, plus sewage, snow clearing, garbage collection, policing, rec centers and so on. Now recall that an audit of Attawapiskat’s books in 2013 found over 80% of the band’s transactions lacked sufficient paperwork to determine where or how the money was spent". -
What should concern Americans the most is the fact that the Dems are trying their best to bend and stretch the intent of the law to such absurd proportions in an effort to take down their own president. They've tried to get some smart assed lawyers to bend and stretch the collusion theory and the obstruction laws without success and this is just the next step. The 25th is meant for serious cases like if Kennedy had survived and became a vegetable. The only real case where it could've been tried is with Reagan, who is suspected to have been fighting Alzheimers near the end of his presidency. What the Dems wont stoop to to get their way. Hmmm. On a side note, part of me wants to see what Trump supporters would do if the Dems were successful with their silent coup. There would be hell to pay, i'm sure, and I doubt the Trump people would be wearing masks when they come calling.

Native complaints about Canada's 150th

We do actually know that the $90M was over 5 years -- that point is stated in nearly every article. My point about the money being "pretty much upfront" is because DeBeers hadn't actually made the allotted money before handing it to the reserve. So, what did the $90M do to help the community? Once you answer that, then maybe go back to the question about what it would take to bring that reserve up to the standards that you're seeking. -

C'mon, the HP isn't news, it's opinion, left wing opinion at that. I'm surprised you haven't quoted the "warrior publications". Go read the Financial Post. -

Source? For what? It's all common knowledge - just google "Attawapaskat DeBeers", there are many articles, the most informative are National Post.
