  1. That's not what the medical examiner that performed the autopsy said: Maybe Brown got a bad batch that was laced with something like crack or PCP?
  2. Dependent on the placement of the entry and exit wounds on his arms, it can be determined if his arms were raised as claimed by several witnesses.
  3. Some quality journalism from the Huffington Post:
  4. Can Brown’s arms pivot 180 degrees at the shoulder? Hasn’t the autopsy made clear both the entrance and exit wounds?
  5. I agree…….Sensationalism at its finest.
  6. Exactly, and further compounded by lighter, modern service pistols (ie Glocks, S&W M&P, HK and SIGS) when contrasted with larger, heavier, older designs like a Beretta 92/M9.
  7. Beat me too it.......that's very true, and more pronounced with a semi-auto cycling, then compared to a wheel gun.
  8. That's correct.......Hence, the development of the 45 ACP cartridge….to stop raging Filipinos, when a .30 caliber cartridge (like 9mm) proved insufficient. Four of the initial rounds hitting Brown in the right arm would indicate a shaky right-handed shooter aiming at center-mass……several rounds to the noggin would indicate a shaky shooter, contending with muzzle rise, on a closing target………Only Bruce Willis and Dirty Harry purposely take head shots, with a hand gun, at a moving target..
  9. Agreed…….and applying that to this case, would indicate Brown was running towards the officer….or standing still…….or backpedaling
  10. The first grouping were to his arm, not critical to movement in a timeframe measured in seconds… .For instance, when Reagan was shot, he (nor the Secret Service) knew it until he started coughing up blood...
  11. Those people should loosen their tin-foil hats, as they are clearly cutting off oxygen to their brains………If this was some Watergate like operation to bug young Trudeau, why would they leave a note and display of cutlery? There is a greater chance of Margaret, off her Scooby Snacks, doing this then one of Trudeau’s political opponents……
  12. Likely 9mm or .40 S&W…Doubtful .45ACP, since there is a significant decrease in magazine capacity, which is a factor in determining a service pistol…….Another factor to consider, which I assume will come out with a toxicology report, is to determine if he was high on something like PCP.
  13. I tend to agree, creating a narrative similar to the EH-101 and Chrétien…….Politics. Cowardly and morally wrong to put politics before the needs of the men and women within our Armed Forces, but a common narrative going all the way back to past Liberal motivated purchases such as the Ross Rifle and Avro Arrow……
  14. Posting numerous quotes, all out of context, to create a narrative is in my view mockery and not congruent to adult conversation……….If I was so inclined, I could do the like, and provide snippets from Ghandi, Elvis, Churchill , JFK and Hitler to demonstrate that Brown got what he deserved.
  15. Despite that though, Blacks only represent ~15% of American gun owners.
  16. If you’re incapable of having an adult conversation and will resort to mockery (and quotes taken out of context), I’ll leave the floor to you.
  17. Exactly…..despite the narrative of some, the 2nd amendment applies to black people too……..and of course, blacks are able to join the NRA………Charlton Heston did march with MLK back in the 60s.
  18. Actually, the NRA doesn’t jump up and down every time a white person has been shot by police……As I said, the NRA has a direct working relationship with the “militarized police force”, added to many LEOs and military being members of the organization. Again, has anyone taken away the 2nd Amendment rights of any of the protestors?
  19. Yes, I know that and stated as much in the passage you quoted.
  20. I think it’s a common realization that, based on those rioting and looting, the State has a tenuous control on civility amongst the populace……. What I find ironic in this discussion, is that many of those opposed to the “apparent militarization of the police”, are also the ones that commonly oppose private firearms ownership, favouring strict controls and regulations on the type of firearms a citizen can own, with the belief that only the police and military should be armed.
  21. And so do many Ferguson residents:
  22. Why would the NRA involve itself? Aside from a mention in their weekly newsletter (to members) on a spike in gun sales in St Louis County in response to the initial rioting and looting, I fail to see what the NRA could contribute…….Have the protestors been denied their Second Amendment right in any way? As to “jack-booted law enforcement”, the NRA provides training to both Law Enforcement and Military policing…….why would they bight the proverbial hand that feeds?
