It's not a state, it's a province but if there's any province that's got an excess of hillbillies it would be a province that doesn't provide necessary services for women seeking an abortion. Don't you think that a socially responsible way of handling the problem of abortions is better than the US way of murdering abortion providing doctors? No Argus, most of the Iraqis killed were not killed by Iraqis in those two wars. And Saddam didn't get anywhere near as many bad guys who were attempting to commit treasonous acts against their country. But you're right about the number of Israelis killed by Palestinians is miniscule to the number of Palestinians killed by Israelis. I know of an actual story to prove it. The Israelis sent rockets into Palestinian civilian areas that killed scores of women and children. The Palestinians built a homemade rocket out of used car exhaust pipes and sent it into Israel, landing it successfully in Noah's mom's pasture within 200 yards of Noah's mom's milk cow, depriving Noah's 6 month old baby of mild for more than 12 hours!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, the humanity!!! Oyyyyyy!

WestCoastRunner, You'll probably find that the people who try to be responsible with birth control are the very people who would suffer the consequences and not even think of an abortion. They're not the people we have to reach with our socially responsibility message. Let's us Canadians not dick around with the issue too much or we'll end up shooting doctors who provide abortions on demand to women. We're better than the US on this issue and we're not nearly as likely to connect it with the god's wishes as they do.

Some are for cameras in the workplace and in people's bedrooms and some are opposed to both. I'm going to be against both and I hope others can choose their sides.

JBG, your first question is too hard to decipher so I just gave up. Try again if you think it's important. Your second question on the US colonizing Alberta or Quebec doesn't make much more because the US isn't trying. But we do have a situation where Quebec could achieve their separatist goal and I would contemplate that if they did then Canada would have to comply with their wishes. Hence, the Crimean people's wishes. Do try that first convoluted question again by perhaps making two questions and each single barreled. Iolo! So we meet again good sister! Argus, It's not an all or nothing thing with energy requirements anymore. Most of the first world understands that and some are approaching self sufficiency on green sources! But I've noticed that those who don't take green energy innovation into consideration are the same people who talk about fairy dust and sky fairies the most. The sky fairy thingy is my first test for credibility.

Smallc, When 17,000 of the 20,000 Ukraine troops sided with Russia and the people of the Crimea sided with Russia in the referendum, doesn't it pose a problem with your logic? Somehow the US/Nato has to deal with the problem of the people's apparent loyalties. It hardly ever works without fixing that perception.

WestCoastRunner, So what? Unless you are trying to suggest that birth control measures are evil because it kills babies? Or just don't 'do it' because it's not for fun? Or you're taking a responsible position and suggesting that men and women should be further educated on the fact that birth control measures are not infallible? Like take better precautions?

No Argus, I'm not okay with that, I'm saying that it's your red herring that you have created through an attitude problem. And the Columbia river reference was to the wind energy being produced there. You really must try to wrap your mind around the idea that we need to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. Once you do that your attitude will change and you will have positive thoughts on what we can do. I can try to help you do that if you wish?

Yes, of course Argus, it's irresponsible women as much as it's irresponsible men. That's my whole point that you seem to be trying to evade. So once again, it's an issue of our social responsibility to educate both women and men on the horrors of abortions for women. Those who really care will approach the problem as a social problem with which we should be dealing. That would be, the reasons women seek abortions and also the reason why irresponsible men are making women pregnant with unwanted pregnancies. OH, it's pretty easy to understand Michael Mann if you want to. He's of the opinion that building more pipelines and transporting more oil by train car are both the wrong approach for our future. Obama understands too of course. The whole idea is to lower our dependence on fossil fuels that are destroying the environment. And I do know that some people don't believe in global warming or auto exhaust emissions or smoke stack scrubbers or mandatory safety standards for cars or seatbelts or just about anything that's good for us but costs money.
