Well let's get something straight right now smallc. I can use whatever source I choose to use and you dont' have the authority to tell me otherwise. If you can't find a source to challenge RT then that's your problem to deal with. Stop trying to dictate the terms of this forum's behaviour to me. Right now!

Perhaps the U.S. Should Not Have Invaded Muslim Countries
monty16 replied to jbg's topic in The Rest of the World
Not even I would suggest that the US under Bush2 would be so shallow, evil, and callous as to invade Iraq and slaughter 100's of thousands of Iraqi men, women, and children because of a personal grudge! I find that completely morally disgusting to even consider. It would transcend even the moral corruption of Hitler! No doubt that the US is the pariah nation of the 21st. century but even I have to be fair to them in that respect. -
We were talking about RELIABLE, not viable and the conversation wasn't with you. But join in if you wish and address the question of reliable energy. When you're finished I can inform you on how the grid works if you care to learn about it. Here's a hint, providing you really are interested and not just trying to disrupt: the wind doesn't always blow but it blows always somewhere in N. America. likewise with the sun shining. And fwiw, likewise with coal fired and gas fired power plants!

No, I do not think I need to define what that means. Check out the statistics on how many extreme right govs they have elected in the last 100 years and compare that to any other normal Canadian province. -

No, you are wrong. Abortion on demand is the only democratic position to take. We are not the US and we don't dictate to women what they can do with their bodies. Yet! It's pretty obvious that Harper would like to lead us into the American way though. He just has to get up the nerve to proclaim it. Canada must remain with the attitude that it's our social responsibility to teach people how to avoid the need for abortions. Good universal health care is part of that because Canadian women know they will be looked after during and after their pregnancy. In the US women most likely seek abortions because they know they are going to be bankrupted if the follow through with having the baby. -

Alberta is the most right of any of the provinces and my opinion remains that they are extreme right. -
If you equate it to trying to a question of reliable energy you just don't understand how the electrical grid works. If you're the least bit interested in learning about it I can explain it to you. And yes, we all know that the sun doesn't always shine and the wind doesn't always blow.

http://rt.com/news/158436-donetsk-republic-ask-join-russia/ The people ask for their right to succeed. Will the US/Nato respect their rights?

No member contributions ring any bells for the Harper gov? I sure won't be voting for any quasi-dictator who wants to try it out on women. -
Oh well, in that case the Western media has been silent on it. Guilt complex? Ordered by the gestapo to remain quiet? We'll have to accept RT's word on it I guess until they get over it.

You're right that Canada violated the sovereignty of Serbia. -

You wouldn't lie about independent monitors so that only leaves being uninformed. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/ukraine-crisis/referendum-monitor-criticizes-u-s-involvement-crimea-n53646 No, the Western media doesn't have to recognize it and apparently hasn't. But their silence doesn't play well for them while it does play well for the other side as it's indicative of the people's preference.

Thanks Guyser, I've got it now and can even quote! Different format here than I've ever used before. -
Stevens himself rejected two offers of military protection before the attack? LOL over and out!

I think you need to stay on the topic and stop the personal attack against me. NOW!

Putin asked them to not hold the referendum. RT could be lying about the results. Let us know when the West posts something on it to refute RT.

If you damage the environment you kill people. Probably a lot more people than you will kill by damaging the economy. But still, it's not one against the other, it's one carefully considered and weighed against the other.

I do understand how the Clinton regime overstepped the UN for the Kosovo war. I understand everything about Kosovo. But you're dead wrong if you think the UN became irrelevant. If the UN was irrelevant the US wouldn't be trying to get through SC no votes on war in Syria. You bet your life that if China and Russia signed on to war, Syria would be smoldering ruins just like Iraq and many other US victim countries. When the US leaves the UN we'll know that it's become meaningless. Until that time the US will continue to try to use the UN to fulfill it's warring agenda throughout the world. -
bush_cheney has nothing, he's mocking us as his "Senior Mocker" title suggests. This issue is a barefaced waste of people's time.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_province_in_Canada_has_the_highest_incest_rate?#slide=2 Guyser, thanks for that. I've never had to deal with that little box on any forum before. And now for a little more help if you would. I can't quote a post of another here on this forum. The 'quote' button doesn't work for me either. -

A woman's decision for abortion would absolutely never be questioned. Period! It is our social responsibility to educate both women and men on effective birth control methods that prevent unwanted pregnancies. As well as being socially responsible in other areas that don't only prevent abortions. We are NOT the united states. And we are not going to allow Harper and his ghouls to turn us into that sort of sick sideshow. -

Thanks Guyser but I know how to cut and paste. I can copy a web address but when I come to the reply box it won't allow me to paste. I don't know if it's got something to do with this forum or it's a glitch with my computer. I can cut, copy, and paste with no trouble elsewhere. -

Yes bush_cheney, we bear the guilt for taking part in Clinton's phony Kosovo war too. But it's really quite a stretch to say that it had something to do with Iraq 2 and Chretien's refusal to let Canada be involved. And fwiw, Harper is on record of supporting Canadian involvement.
