  1. There is only one way to actually depoliticiaze it. Cut it off. Cut it off.
  2. I don't know about you guys but this looks a lot worse than January 6th to me.
  3. Biden's America? Never. Nor do we want them to. Then we must do it for ourselves, my Brothers...
  4. You are not way off here. That is essentially what they're saying with the angle that the horse was injured when a bicycle was thrown at it. Having said that, I do empathize with the horse. Just doing its job.
  5. He should know better. For every action, an equal and opposite reaction. + 1
  6. It doesn't matter they had authority, nor that any good would come of it. It matters about the outcome and how you handle this, both immediately in Ottawa, and in the media. That's what I just saidl but you seem to miss that point. I'm not arguing about the protesters issues, even. I'm talking about Trudeau's handling of this. Disreputable, don't bore me with subjective nonsense. They had some points to make that resonated with many Canadians. I don't care if people go there with Nazi flags. People are always on the Hill with Nazis flags, whenever I go there. Instead what's come out as disreputable is the mainstream media. They are now exposed as a manipulative government propaganda machine. Many knew that already, but now they are exposed. That and police lying on Twitter. Meanwhile politicians are hiding, not doing their job in the HOC, debating the Emergency Act. I believe they have not voted on it. They could have held online sessions on Friday, but they made excuses. This is undermining our society. Mr. Trudeau must step down as leader. Immediate non-confidence vote. Let the government fall.
  7. Good point. I have noted the similarities myself. Trudeau is much less overt now. If Trump had done the things Trudeau's doing, look out Nellie...
  8. "If I were king..." Mr. Trudeau should have met with the protesters in some capacity. Even if this was doomed to fail, I would at least have a modicum of respect that he did reach out, he did show he is listening to Canadians. Perhaps he could have said, I've heard you and we will take up a discussion in HOC about your concerns. Now it's time for you to go home. Then he could mention it in the house, and also say he is listening to Canadians. Now it's time for the truckers to go home. Then he wins. What I see instead is a narrow-minded and selfish, immature leader. Spiteful when scorned, even in the least. Like one of those horrid boy-kings of old, who inherited his fathers kingdom and then laid it to ruin.
  9. I would not say each has equal responsibility though. Trudeau has all the power and authority. There is no question he owns it, by virtue of the fact he is in charge.
  10. \ Really hoping that the average Canadian feels contempt and disgust at what Mr. Trudeau has done. The video of the man and disabled woman trampled is iconic. It will go around the world and become a symbol of this event, like the famous photo of guy standing in front of the tank at Tiananmen.
  11. This is the more fundamental problem here, not trucks. The poster's feelings about authority and trust in police. Mr. Trudeau has undermined the very fabric of Canadian civil society. Trampled under cloven hooves.
  12. I saw a video taken by someone on the ground standing right next to this woman. Then the horses start charging toward the camera, and the guy ducks back, but the woman doesn't make it. Another guy jumps between the woman and the horse at the last second, and he gets trampled too. Saw a few more videos where you can see the cops holding people down on the ground, and clearly they're throwing punches and layin' their knees on whoever it is. people beaten into submission... nice. That sure went quick from hot-dog barbeques and balloons to getting trampled and beaten by cops. Mr. Trudeau deserves this for his legacy. Let's go, Justin.
  13. Toronto Sun- WARMINGTON: Police horses trample demonstrators at Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa People trampled is a symbol of Justin’s Canada. Just as we are to be trampled, under his jackboots.
  14. I've seen this in other areas as well, the public sector. Bloated administration is a kind of social disease. If you don't take action against it, this is what happens. We pride ourselves on not having things like inheritance, but let's be honest, of course there is and it's embedded right in the fabric of Canada. The Prime Minister would never have been a PM if not for his father. And the failure of that in our system is now on full display. .... I saw what happened in hospitals from the later '80s to now. Administration exploded in population growth, like rabbits yet they were not good for anything. Like rabbits. These were now people "entitled" to have a nice job, as the majority of them come from well-to-do families. A doctor made good money on his lifetime, they were rich. His children were not doctors however. So he saw to it they got a job in the hospital admin. Easiest job in the building, but top pay. Of course they know nothing about nothing, and drag down the whole system. ... Like PM
  15. So Trudeau is the second-most politically shit of all time? Ok.
  16. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/emergencies-act-banks-ottawa-protests-1.6353968 The new emergency act allows government to order banks to freeze your accounts, including savings and credit cards, and stop doing business with you entirely. All financial assets can be seized. You would have no money, and no credit cards. Seems excessively harsh. It was not illegal to donate under the circumstances before. There was no emergency declaration. By these actions it seems like they are making things illegal retroactively. Threatening to take kids away, and parents imprisoned for five years? For what, playing road hockey on Wellington? What the government is doing now is overly punitive and possibly illegal. Lets hope this is the final nail in Mr. Trudeau’s political coffin.
  17. I dont want millions in damages. Just my beer and smokes is fine.
  18. The government has taken over policing with the Act. In other words police are now an extension of the government and will follow their dictates per the Act, which is wide open to interpretation. Hence the police chief has resigned. ... sunny wayz
  19. I've taken note where the suitcase is, and what my essentials will be should I need to cut and run quickly.
  20. Now we see what they mean by "using a sledgehammer". Sunny ways... Hey Mr. Trudeua, how's that sunshine coming out? Is the sun shining yet?
  21. How would I feel? It depends on the cause. Doesn't matter if it's simply "indigenous", and "chinese". I'm not racist.
  22. I guess there are some disadvantages, to a post-national state.
  23. Especially if you write anti-government messages about covid in an online forum. Maybe time to use hidemyass.
  24. Unfortunately the "Emergency Act" empowers the government to force tow-truck drivers to comply with their order to remove the trucks, or else. Not sure what the penalty is for non-compliance. The government destroying people's lives financially is still violence.
