Seems they were both banned this morning. I tried to look up their profiles. No luck Argus kept insinuating they were the same. Unfortunately, the long term members get to remain. It reflects the knee jerk responses from the mods. Ogft had insightful responses. Seems a shame that argus caused his demise.

I take that back. His poll numbers are really hurting with women. Women in general should be very afraid of the republicans. It doesn't matter who they choose as the nominee. They will all set women back.

I am certainly not covering up the issue. But you confirm my issue. You are labelling them as addicts. They would like to address themselves as individuals with an issue with alcohol etc.There is great issues with labelling this as a disease. Much research has proven this isn't a disease.

Part of the problem is people referring to them as addicts which further stigmatizes them. We need to as a society work together to allow them to reach out to resources in a respectable and humane way. They are our mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, etc. They aren't addicts. They are first of all humans.

How do you know they are avoiding treatment?

It almost always fails but there are individuals that rely on these meetings for no other reason than that these are the only free meetings they can access. SMART meetings aren't available in every town across Canada.
