  1. It means, why don't you stick up for your fellow gay human beings, instead of throwing them to the curb when the TWU decides to discriminate.
  2. Perhaps you should put your money where your mouth is.
  3. I chose to repost a poster's valuable information in a thread that another poster had chosen to ignore this poster. My repost was deleted and I was given a warning. If a poster wants to put another poster on ignore but continues to contribute to said thread, shouldn't they be made aware of the poster's contribution that they chose to ignore. They continued to contribute to this thread, all the while, ignoring valuable information that contributed to thread. How is that possibly advantageous to the thread?
  4. Seems like the moderators brought this thread to a stop, pretty quick!
  5. What really bothers me is that when I reposted this post, I was given a warning. I suppose it was because someone chose to ignore Waldo and I chose to respost Waldo's valuable information in this thread. I am puzzled as to why I was given a warning and why my repost was deleted. If anyone wants to weigh in on this thread, they should not ignore posters at their give and take. A thread encompasses all relevant posts dedicated to the thread. Why I was given a warning and why my re-post was deleted, I am not sure. I am quite frankly puzzled by it all. Did someone report my repost and I was quickly given a warning. It happened within an hour of my repost.
  6. But didn't you say earlier that if they are discriminating against gays, that would be a problem? They are singling out a specific group of people. 'gay married couples'.
  7. Because TWU has chosen to focus on married people. You are simply refusing to see the discrimination here. Canada legalized gay marriage back in 2005. They should have the same rights as a heterosexual couple and TWU has clearly used their religion to discriminate against these 'legal marriages'.
  8. The school does actually say that married gays are now allowed. "The covenant includes a passage that forbids sex outside of marriage, defined as between a man and a woman, and students can be disciplined for violating it." That is the problem Tim and I don't know why you insist that the above statement does not discriminate against gays. A gay married couple is not welcome at this institution unless they abstain from having sex, however a married heterosexual couple can have sex all they want! You keep quoting your above statement. Perhaps you should remove your blinders.
  9. There is another issue that hasn't been given a lot of coverage with regards to another new law school. B.C. is already over-saturated with lawyers and the last thing this province needs is more new graduate lawyers. Ontario as well has the same problem. A research lawyer with the B.C. Law Institute states that: "The only party that will profit from students attending the law facility will be TWU itself". When a university creates a law program, it expands its employment roster and gains both financially and in prestige. But shouldn't universities stop educating students for jobs that don't exist.
  10. Derek is continually questioning OGFT's flying experience which is basically calling him a liar. That is also against forum rules.
  11. The U.S. does not have a lot of surgeons specializing in the surgery Laurie wanted.
  12. What is your point in all this info BC? Everything you are posting, we already know. Tell us something we don't know.
  13. Again, as i mentioned above. Canada does not have the number of surgeons with these skills to meet the demand, hence the waiting list.
  14. Not only lack of research but not much value added either.
  15. Why do you keep challenging OGFT on his flying skills? It seems like your mandate here is to test a poster as to the validity of his experience? If you don't believe him why don't you just ignore him. Perhaps you are the one with a made up persona.
  16. BC's posts lack research. Most of the time they are headlines grabbed off the internet.
  17. Canadian women are not 'flocking' to the u.s. for this type of specialized surgery. There are perhaps a few each year. Since it is a specialized type of surgery for breast reconstruction (and there are many reasons why doctor's don't pursue this specialization), it only leaves Canada with 1 or 2 doctors in this field of work (hence the long wait times). Even in the states, there are not that many who practice this type of surgery.
  18. Again, you come back to 'the man does not want to be a stand-in parent'. What are you talking about. Is this what relationships are all about? Being a stand in parent to a child? You are so paranoid about this issue and I suspect this is clearly a personal issue with you and not at all related to a general issue and if it is, it is clearly not a fair assumption.
  19. And I have been away for a few days so perhaps I have been away from the original discussion but your thoughts are so freakin weird tim!
  20. Ok Tim. Let's stray from the original discussion.
