I've seen his toughness as environment minister, scared the crap out of Canadians. He underestimated what was expected of that role and now he's paying for it. He's trying to be the environment minister he never was. Too little,too late. He's in a different role now, too bad he hasn't got the mind set for this role. Maybe next year with a new Liberal leader without baggage, someone like Kennedy, the Liberals will shake the old school image out and begin anew.

Trading credits and shuffling money from one country to another will do nothing for the environmental problems that this country has.

That's why I never faulted 2050. Those that want it now, have no idea what the end result in the short term will do.....and all these demands for 2% of the global problem.

I love these kind of replies-"it doesn't have to be that way". Simplicity in an answer without giving a hardcore solution to the one presented.

How can there be jobs,contacts or support groups in small town Ontario when all the $$$ is given to groups in Toronto? Immigrants right off the boat should be sent to small town Ontario where they have a better chance of making a life,getting a job,buying an affordable house. McGuinty doesn't give that option with this kind of non-help to agencies in these small centres.

Somehow I think most rational people would feel stupid wearing it, a lot of parents wouldn't like,want,or allow their children to wear it and I think this campaign will deep 6 very shortly. I think you're wrong Geoffrey,those that see the sign and the word will not think of climate change, they will think profanity. This is a cheap answer to a campaign that shows no creativity. The province spends $500,000 to offend parents who try to teach their kids about rude words and the government thinks it's appropriate. The same message could have been done without trying to immitate the profanity word.

I was under the impression that any type of environmental program is a threat to the well being of the nation. What threat was the original-not changed-to-a-Opposition-overkill-Kyoto-environment-do-it-now-bill?
