  1. Maybe if people like you would get off their asses and contribute to our nation you'd have nothing to complain about...instead you sit in your lofty tree and fling shit like all the rest of the monkeys...

  2. Sorry, could not hear you , to busy dodging your shit.....I to have contributed thousand upon thousand of my tax dollars as well, and have put in thousands of thousands volunteer hours towards the safety of the nation.....so now according to the rules of the forest we now whip out penises, grunt and fling our arms and hands around like your ass is on fire ....until one of us is deemed the winner by the other monkeys...........That might work in your side of the forest....but here in the Maritimes we tend to keep our junk in our pants...thanks....I guess you win......

  3. Hey that gives me an idea. I'm gonna open a bar called "moderation". Then I'll hang a flashing neon sign out front saying "drink in moderation" with an arrow pointing to the door. What d'ya think?

  4. THIS IS INSANE https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2017/06/26/jewish-marchers-say-they-were-kicked-out-of-a-rally-for-inclusiveness-because-of-their-beliefs/?utm_term=.d1d2e578fd86 This is victim identity politics gone insane. Just because you carry an Israeli flag and/or are a zionist doesn't mean you're not critical of certain Israeli gov actions, and doesn't mean you're anti-palestinian or anti 2-state solution. For an LGBT rally march to be "anti-zionist" is disgusting. So much for "inclusiveness".

  5. What is an act of terrorism? It's often in the eye of the beholder. If Khadr was firing at civilians in Ottawa it would be easy to classify that as terrorism but once you are living in a country that has been invaded things are more complicated. I presume the Taliban, like any government in such circumstances, welcomed any help it could get at the time. I supported the invasion of Afghanistan but I fully expected armed resistance from the inhabitants. I presume the Speer family lawyers will try to avoid having to defend Khadr's dubious confession in a Canadian court as it will be given rough treatment for multiple obvious reasons and may not be admissible as evidence. People present the dreadful record of the Khadr family as an aggravating factor against him. That is Taliban thinking that has no place in this country. He was BROUGHT to Afghanistan by his family. To listen to Harper (and HIS family now) you'd think this guy was Osama B. Laden.

  6. What war? How does one commit a war crime when no war has been declared? The same way a detainee isn't a POW. You people pretend it's a war when it suits your bullshit but then you switch gears when it doesn't. That's why Omar's mother has never been charged with indoctrinating a child soldier. If this was a real war we'd have a lot more to answer for but since it isn't....we can just make shit up as we go. Trouble is, so can the enemy...whatever that means. I'm an enemy, or so I've been told.

  7. That is a false assumption because you continue to ignore that the doctrine of clean hands, pogg clause in the Charter, doctrine of public morality could have all been argued to reduce the amount to a nominal amount. You ignore those doctrines because you have no way to deny them so you do what liberals are good at, pretending they don't exist as options. You are a snively liberal partisan deliberately ignoring the nominal award argument which the Liberals chose not to pursue because had they, Chretien's role in creating this legal fiasco would come out. But go on keep repeating your selective "legal expertise"..

  8. Listen, you've been a terrorist loving supporter from day one.. we all get that. Omar is your poster boy... but Canada did nothing to this idiot and family but give them homes and health care. SSTFU

  9. That's not what you said at all.......this is your quote right..... (.Its freaking disgusting to think we're sending people like you abroad to defend our values.) You brought up how you paid your taxes.....and how you volunteered your time......No where did I say my time was worth more than yours , nor did I say I paid more taxes than you.....I have said you lived in a tree, like most tree huggers...have not contributed to our nations security, except bitch and moan about it....and the last time I checked I did volunteer for our nations military......that's got to piss you off......I'm a killer like you were a conservationist......

  10. Most of us don't consider him to be a Canadian at all, much less a child. You can claim him as one of yours, but the rest of us reject him.

  11. You come on this forum to applaud terrorists and call Canadian soldiers paid killers. It speaks loudly to what an inexperienced child you must be to be unable to tell the difference.

  12. Not necessarily. Your assumption completing ignores the court may have only decided to award a nominal amount.

  13. I've contributed thousand upon thousands of dollars and hundreds and hundreds of volunteer hours to my country. To no good effect apparently.

  14. You don't have to make sense of anything....this is my resentment and I own the burden it creates no one else....You can make all the excuses you want for Omar and his family that's on you not me..... And your right , I don't like the way it has turned out.... I have a lots of hobbies but thanks for your concern.....Many Canadians do support our military and it's vets , just not the Majority of them....one day perhaps... You should do some home work Liberals have deployed more soldiers in our history than all other parties put together.....Why is it that just the cons get the warmongers label.....

  15. Good try, but you're manufacturing your own facts. The legal costs are the costs incurred from the beginning of this affair which spans 15 years. And as we all know now, the Liberals are mostly responsible for this fiasco, from the time Chretien sprung the elder jihadist Khadr from prison. Then the Liberals sent interrogators to Gitmo to question Omar Khadr knowing full well that his Canadian Charter Rights were breached. It's no wonder they threw money at Omar Khadr and co. deflecting responsibility on Harper, hoping they can still win the next election in spite of their incompetence. https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2017/07/07/lawyer-for-us-soldiers-widow-calls-for-urgent-hearing-on-freezing-khadrs-105-million-settlement.html

  16. More like: what the Hell is wrong with you? You're free to kiss this Jihadi's azz. He's taken, mind-you.

  17. I heard one lawyer interviewed who said if the money was placed in a trust fund for Khadr this move would shield it from the lawsuit. It's also possible the money was transferred to offshore accounts. I can just see Trudeau's lawyers brainstorming with Khadr's team on the best way to assure that the Americans get nothing. In any case, I hope the widow and injured soldier continue their efforts with regard to their lawsuit. This will keep the Khadr matter in the public domain much to the discomfort of the scheming Liberals.

  18. Islam is a religion. Not a skin colour. No matter how many times you and others try to make Islam a skin colour....this will not change. I'll continue to remind you and others each time you attempt this sort of blatant lie.

  19. I love Toronto too, lived there for a few years. There were 2 dozen or more food takeout places on my 10 min walk home, from everywhere in the world. And polite, kind people. I like where I am now too. Check this out:

  20. Plus, if you went to your doctor for a checkup and he/she asks "do you drink" you can say yes, but only in moderation.

  22. I see what you did there. I miss my time living among the ethnic groups of an area of Toronto called "the beaches". I could take a walk, practice my (rather poor) foreign language skills, hear some music and enjoy the smells and the tastes of a variety of foods beyond meat and potatoes.

  23. This is just another example of HRC stupidity/political correctness. The judgements seem to have little do with fairness or common sense. So someone get's offended and they can pull in tens of thousands of dollars? They should be scrapped altogether . A good read on this topic is a book by Ezra Levant called Shakedown. It's from 2009 but still gives the reader a pretty good idea of how slanted the HRC's are.Levant himself was a victim.

  24. Army Guy, You seem to expect the Supreme Court to 'do something' independently without anyone asking them for a ruling. We've already explained that that is not how the Supreme Court works. It was up to the government to act on the ScoC findings, and they didn't ... until they finally did agree to let him serve the last of his sentence in Canada. Canada is now being held accountable for violating his rights, with the settlement just made. I want to acknowledge something here: Child soldiers are dangerous in the war zone, were dangerous to you and other Canadian soldiers. You had to deal with them as necessary in those situations. I understand that. But after the fact is a different story. They can be rescued and rehabilitated. That is the way they are dealt with. They are not convicted of crimes committed in war, because they had no choice. The child soldiers of Boko Haram were brutal, sadistic killers as they were forced and trained to be. However, great efforts were put into rehabilitating them and several of them live in Canada now. I respect your reasons for having intense emotions about this. But this is after the fact now, and we do have a responsibility to focus on rehabilitation and moving on beyond the battlefields, recognizing that Omar Khadr and other children did not have a choice about being there. You might have been equally miserable in the war zone, but you made that choice freely as an adult. On the issue of resentment that he's getting a settlement that no injured soldier ever gets ... I hear you. But, like in union negotiations, you can't build yourself up by tearing someone else down. Instead, you use it as a precedent to go after more.

  25. Dialamah is rather ironic a poster who has made it clear on this board he hates blacks, Jews, Muslims, gays, etc., now tries to use this story about a black landlord to try stir the pot. Its to be expected. He lived to try inflame hatred. That said, and with due respect there is more to the story than you said. The family involved pulled a fast one using their religion to avoid evicton. Its a very bad decision and it actually is something I doubt any Mullah would defend this Muslim family from doing. Its not a reflection on the religion. This family used religion as an evasion tactic. There is much more to the story, That said we both know he;s using it to fan hatred against all Muslims and ironically usinga black person who he detests just as much to try do it. Let's leave it at that. You can find out the full details. You would not have agreed with what this family did. Believe me it had nothing to do with shoes not being taken off.
