Wow, how did you figure that out all on your own? You're so woke. One that's easily falsifiable. Do you believe or wish to argue otherwise or something?

Because if a stunned wonder like you chose not to get vaccinated you had a greater likelihood of infecting someone who was compromised than someone who was vaccinated. Think hospitals fool.... people who are vulnerable may even be there? You're a certified psycho... WTF are you even mumbling about, or is your helmet on too tight again. Dying.... give me a break. I know countless young, healthy people including my kids who got vaccinated and are just fine. You watch too much Rebel News. You're a fool...

It seems more like an oversight and you're ridiculously suspicious. The idea was fabricated alright, by partisans seeking to blame an incumbent for everything that was going wrong. Do you see the pattern here, am I getting thru to you at all? But the reality remains that 800,000 is the estimated number of affordable and social housing units across Canada that gradually lost federal funding and rent subsidies when Harper let long-term federal operating agreements run out. He was just finishing a job that started long before anyone had heard of him. Now it's Carney's turn to take the heat. No one said the system is smart. It's certainly unable to cultivate much in the way of a forgiving temperament to avoid everything defaulting to endless acrimony and combat.

Correct. No, 100% blame for a long term widespread problem is simply a partisan dodge all too commonly used to dump on incumbents in the present. This dodge has been with us for decades, it won't be going away anytime soon and it contributes nothing towards a solution. They certainly didn't make things any better. I didn't expect them to, why did you?

LOL i can hear you crying from here kiddo It must absolutely suck that you know in your heart the best financial prime minister we've ever had was a conservative and that none of the liberals before or after have come even close. And that as much as people didn't like him he still in the top spots for best prime minister ever again and again and again when polls are taken. Try harder kid. Love seeing those salty tears

Dodge again, we all know that's you're singular forte. -
If the jab protects you, then why the F do you care if someone else is unvaccinated, loser? Linkie: "Duuuuuh, me have vax, so me is safe. Me no can get virused. But peeple no vaxeen can get covid, and then me gonna die from it." Do you understand that part, stupid? If your vax works then why do you care who else has it? The whole point of making people take the vax was that "the vax theoretically worked". It's one way or the other you worthless goddamned fool. It works like you say it does, or it doesn't work so why take it? Furthermore, by the time the vax was available for young people, we KNEW that they did not need it at all. Not one teeny tiny fking bit. How about this, loser... If people are too scared to go outside then they should stay inside. Right? F-off you weak little biotch. The VAST VAST VAST majority of people who were vulnerable didn't have to work. They could stay home. Very few people who were vulnerable to covid were in any shape to hold jobs. Why should young people take a chance of dying from the jab when they had no chance of dying from covid? Why should they take a chance of getting myocarditis, pericarditis, or any of the other serious side-effects. How much of a gutless weasel are you that you'd risk the lives of young, healthy people just to save your worthless ass?

It really doesn't. Either climate change is happening at a crisis level and is an existential threat to human life and we can do something about it or it isn't a crisis and we can't do something about it. Nothing else matters unless you're trying to turn this into a political opportunity and don't actually care about the subject That's one of your stupidest statements and it was up against some pretty stiff competition. It would be more akin to saying "Is this cancer? and if so is there a treatment?'" Which are two logical questions. And a person who was concerned about cancer would seek those answers first and have in hand evidence that it is cancer and that it is treatable or evidence that it wasn't cancer or if it is there's nothing we can do about it anyway That's what a reasonable and sane person would do. Yet it is not what you and your courts have done. Despite numerous requests you still cannot provide any evidence that there is a crisis or that any proposed solution would have any significant effect No, you haven't presented a single thing from a actual climate scientist or even a non-climate scientist. Despite being asked billions of times at this point. Let's try again, provide the scientific research specifically that shows that climate change is a crisis and that there's something we can do about it that would substantially avoid that crisis. It can be more than one paper,it can arrive at those conclusions without perhaps using those precise words as long as it's clear that there is a huge danger to mankind and that we can fix it with one or another proposed solution I'll wait. Nope and I actually just went through this with someone else. It's sadly not dramatic. It's sadly actually true What's dramatic is suggesting that much of humanity will die or that our civilizations will fall or that 2 billion people will come streaming across our borders and we won't be able to stop it, etc etc even on this very board as well as other places I'm afraid you've got the drama queen title all wrapped up kiddo

What Is Climate Change?
LinkSoul60 replied to Deluge's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
No, the answer is not 'no', because it does matter. Using your logic is akin to saying "I have X cancer but it's not a crisis right now so I'll wait to start any type of treatments". Climate change is costing us today and will cost future generations a hell of a lot more if we don't something about it, which we are. Can more be done yes, but at what cost and in the world as it is today. My 'kind' is the actual climate scientists who have studied this subject for years and have unequivocally agreed that climate change is man made. Given that we know greenhouse gases are not good for the atmosphere it makes a least a bit of sense to reduce them as much as we responsibly can, don't you think? Radical actions have destroyed our economy.... dramatic much? -

You're the only one that hears voices in your head kiddo Of course there is. I say intelligent things but I don't worry about double checking for grammar. You say stupid things and think that your grammar somehow makes them less stupid Which is pretty stupid. Not to mention you just screwed up your grammar while you were calling someone stupid I pointed out the sentence already and good lord, I don't have enough hours in the day to start teaching you decent English skills, you can barely think your way out of a paper bag as it is. But I find it absolutely hilarious that you couldn't spot the error and need someone to walk you through it while you're complaining about people's grammar oh, and.... "Which sentence?" is a sentence fragment sweetie. Bad grammar! No star for you! -
Buddy, he was voted out because CBC made his last 3 years all about Duffygate. CBC was calling the 2015 election "A referendum on Duffygate", not on housing affordability. Housing unaffordability has gone way up since the Libs were elected. We had a whole thread devoted to it. House and rent prices both went up by a much wider margin than the minimum and average wages did. Also, the Libs moved immigration from 260,000 in 2014, under Harper, to 485,000 in 2024. Google it, doofus. Last but not least, Canada had a $1.9B surplus in 2014. You don't even know what that word means, do you, imbecile? No leftists know what it means. It means that his budget was better than Carney's by about $50B? Maybe $60B? You're just a clueless ret4rd who will say things that are the exact opposite of the truth, regardless of how many times you're called out.
-
Excuses excuses...you're simply streaming the voice in your head on the Internet. And seriously, there's no excuse for using poor grammer when you're using it to call people stupid. 🤣 Which sentence? Go get a dictionary and we'll literally go over it word for word so we know what you're talking about.

So the original poster lied when he said harper sold homes And in fact what you appear to be saying is that the government was paying subsidies for housing and with those subsidies expired they didn't renew paying government money to subsidize cheap housing. But in fact there's absolutely no evidence whatsoever that most of those people wouldn't have simply gone ahead and done the same thing anyway given the increase in pricing for homes and rent. And in fact we know a lot of the housing that still received subsidies chose to go that route Landlords choose to drop subsidies to upgrade Previously affordable homes for higher rent - Google Search So even when the subsidies are still there a huge percentage of the landlords are dropping the subsidiesrenovating for higher rents So in other words the idea that harper somehow put 800,000 homes out of play is absolute nonsense. Completely manufactured
-
Nope. First off Carney is at fault for what he's doing which is bailing out developers. If he didn't they would have to sell their homes that are reduced rate or rent them out, either way lowering prices for people. Now those people are being bailed out on the government die with no guarantee the homes will ever be rented out to low income people or sold to needing families or be used to reduce prices as it would have been This is a 100% carney thing it has absolutely nothing to do with the past Second it off the only thing that the federal government has to do with housing availability historically is immigration. The liberals screwed up immigration over the last 11 years that's true not played a horrible role but that was not decades in the making that was only the liberals. The rest of the problem falls on provincial and Municipal governments. They've increased the regulation around homes jacking up prices severely and limiting builds and extending build times to create a constant crisis. They become drunk on developer money. But that has nothing to do with the feds, although both trudeau and carney said they'd fix that and neither have. This certainly won't help So you're wrong across the board. The situation we're talking about is 100% carney and has nothing to do with the past. Federally the liberals are the only ones who can take a significant amount of blame for the housing crisis due to their immigration policy where they deliberately allowed in far more people then the number of homes being built and did so after their own people warned them not to Swing in a miss kiddo You never sent anything of the kind and I just posted the facts which prove you were wrong. Along with the link. Although it's certainly not surprising to see you transiting from lying about what harper did to lying about having provided the information Lying is what you liberals are good at
