Canada slips into recession as economy stalls
CdnFox replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Carney's latest business idea isn't wow ing anyone apperently: Canadians aren't happy about new AI plan from Carney | Daily Hive | National -
Wow. You and i agree on something There's room here for a joke about broken clocks but i'll let it go I think you're statement is both correct and far reaching - "Science informs but people/govts decide." That is true. And as a result, science is rarely the ONLY factor playing into the decision-making process. But I do believe that it is important for governments to share all of the facts and science honestly and openly with the public to allow them to make as informed a decision as they can

Yes, already discussed. He said they broke the law, should be arrested tried convinced and receive the death penalty. That's a legal process. If you say a person guilty of a crime punishable by death should be tried and punished by death, that is not the same as suggesting a police officer and his family should be illegally murdered. It's just a little sad you needed to have that difference explained to you.

I love that you feel that faith family and freedom are subjects that are as 'crazy' as space lazers etc You really are the worst kind of person. Should we ask her stance on letting muslims kill jews because its their human right?
-
no comment? Just liked what i said so much you wanted to put it out there again? I can certainly think of you as a defective reject You spend a lot of time pointing out what i just said to you was correct well i'm sure that the average slug would have found einstein boring. And that's about the same intelligence gap between you and me so... Also, you really suck at insults kid.

Why do women vote Left ......... too easy.. The Left supports welfare, gender equality, childcare ......... social protections. All down hill when the split-a$$ got the vote. 😁

the guy who spells "your" as UR has pitty on my teachers Also everything i just taught you was correct, and you just repeated it back to me insisting it was correct LOLOL Never mind pity, your teachers should be brought up on child abuse charges "I've ALMOST learned to do math" - John . Well that's good Most of the republicans are retiring this year. Many of the other seats are weak. There is a real threat they could flip if there is a strong backlash against trump. Certainly there is a very real possibility that enough could that the few remaining votes necessary would be found across the isle, either from people who decide they don't like trump anymore and will vote against him or even some who may just not show up for that vote and let the other guys win. That's not a prediction, it's just a reality that trump will have to keep in mind. And if trump has taught you anything at all little man it should be that in american politics ANYTHING is possible
-
But you miss two broader questions: Women generally vote left. Young women live in urban areas.

Racial minorities are groups of people who differ in terms of race - who often experience social, economic or poltical disadvantages (jobless rates, jerrymander, wages) In the 1995 ref campaign on Quebec sovereignty it was believed the fed 'no' side would win in a walk. However the 'NO' side won with only a thin majority. The premier at the time blamed the defeat on the 'ethnic' vote (euphemism for those of color). It's the reason separatists are so concerned re: immigration. Studies have shown overwhelmingly that older adults show more uncertainty-avoidance. A good example would be Catholicism - papal conclave. Why does the US Jewish diaspora vote overwhelming Left? I'll leave that to u?

Trump's Ballroom Bites the Dust, Thune
Nefarious Banana replied to robosmith's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Donny Demento's not looking too healthy these days. Dancing to the 'Village People' in his own ballroom just might not happen. Oh well . . . . - Today

Tel Aviv - a large city - has many jews. Define "racial minorities" - Paris has many French people. I live in Montreal. It has many immigrants. ===== Age and voting conservative, you have my attention. Explain.

I doubt the Ayatollah ever personally pulled a trigger or tore a finger nail out of some hapless screaming victim. What's your point, you're seriously suggesting that the quality of quantity of motherfuçking both are guilty of should matter? Why do you want it both ways?
-
Large cities have greater concentrations of racial minorities, immigrants, youth, jews. Age and voting conservative are a direct relationship. 😁

First a trickle....Now a flood
John Stone replied to Goddess's topic in Health, Science and Technology
A nation should defer to science as the most reliable source of empirical knowledge ....... and def on issues like pandemics. The truth is that Science informs, but the citizens / governments, decide. -
The Return Of Coal
John Stone replied to Nationalist's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
According to major scientific assessments the effects of climate change will intensify dramatically within the next few decades due to increasing global temps, ice loss (earth's a/c) and sea-level rise. Relax......... chance are the majority won't live long enough to see it. (whew!) -
The Kind of People Trump Attracts.
eyeball replied to John Johnston's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The lighter side of the news is that you people think the Democrats are Communists and Hitler was a lefty. Even funnier is that despite squawking like chicken littles for 50 - 60 years or more about commies under every bed and infiltrating, subverting and indoctrinating every level of government in the West - it was accomplished without a single shot being fired in opposition. How do you explain that? Blaming the left will likely sound a little circular. This is clearly a right wing failure. -

Partisan politics is tearing America apart ......... fueled by a leader that is incapable of leading the entire nation. -
Riel was executed for high treason. Laporte was murdered. .....big difference.
