Part...a big part...of the problem with US politics, is the donation rules. Citizens United stuck a shiv in the back of their election process. Mail-in ballots stuck another one in...and everyone knows it. Citizens United made it actually legal to outright buy politicians. Americans express their dismay and discontent with their political landscape in different ways.
