they lost to Russians (nordic europeans with a Slav admixture) allied with Britain (celtic nordic european), America (who i'm sure you will remember were half German: the largest European group in the US at the time where German Americans), and many other Allied European nation...

In other words it took the entire world to "win"... but this has no relationship with the question of diversity posed earlier.

You're begging to be pantsed and pawned....

So many fallacies, so little time....

Fallacy #1 The US was 1/2 German.

FACT: Never has the US been 1/2 German or even 1/4 german.

iN 1790 the US claimed 5% German anscentry....in 1980 the figure had balloned to 15.2%

Fallacy #2 The russians are nordic eropeans with a soupcon of Slave

FACT: The USSR was 70% Slav and 12% Turkic

The Soviets were in fact along with the USA one of the most ethnically diverse nations of the day.

And in fact, the mongrel US is evn stronger now than then.

ALLAH AKBAR!

actually, the US has declined in relative power vis-a-vis the rest of the world.

The US in 1945 could have continued on and annihilated the USSR and become true Hegemon of the world. Alas it elected to give communism a chance.

Today the US is a hated country, with a ruined economy, and industrial base that is almost entirely offshore and in alien hands, a less healthy less cohesive society, and all manner of geopolitical disasters waiting to happen. The US has declined in all aspects of literacy (scientific mathematical and otherwise), and continues its downward spiral as such nations as China, India and Russia grow stronger by the week.

but anyway...

I didn't think it was necessary for you to actually gives us a sample of what you don't know, but the above confirms all doubts.

Your habit of making large sweeping erroneous generalizations cannot be surpassed.

1) Your assumptions about the US economy is laughable. The US is the worlds l;argest and strongest economy where almost 25% work in the manufacturing sector...far from being off shore....

There is no need to compound your errors one subject by adding to another.

not entirely accurate: circa WW1 germans where the largest ethnic group in the US with 29%, of the total population (some estimates: Germany and the Americas By Thomas Adam page 243: going as far as 38% of the entire nation). Also about 43% of all conscripts and US soldiers in WW1 and about the same during WW2 where german-americans.

Almost all sources say the actual number is doubtless higher, since as you'll remember this was during the time when the US had its insane Creel commission who concocted numerous outlandish fairy tales about germans decapitating babies and eating them with salt and pepper, german soldiers crucifying americans alive... and similar nonsense to whop up some enthusiasm for the war effort which was of no conceivable interest to America. During that crazed period, many german-americans where persecuted and hence many would change their names and hide their german-ancestry in an effort to avoid persecution (http://historymatters.gmu.edu/d/1/)

Today german Americans number about 18% of the total U.S. population and 26% of the non-Hispanic white population making them once again the LARGEST ethnic group. where you get this 15.2% figure... I don't know.

The Soviet Army A 1938 report noted that 1.3% of the draft where non-white (www.da.mod.uk/colleges/arag/document-listings/russian/D61). The difference between a Central asian (caucasian), and a slav are essentially the same as a north korean and south korean... the soviet army was an overwhelming majority of East European (Slav) and Caucasian Minorities ( Richard Pipes, "The Nationality Problem," in Handbook of Major Soviet Nationalities, Kev Katz et a1., editors (New York: Free Press, 1975), pp. 1-7.) the point being that the Soveit army was far from a multiracial showboat as you dishonestly imply...

In case you have been dwelling in a cave for a decade: here are the facts about the glorious US economy: (http://www.twnside.org.sg/title/1917-cn.htm)

* Since the mid-1970s, the top 1% of households have doubled their share of the national wealth. The top 1% of US households now have more wealth than the entire bottom 95%.

* Microsoft CEO Bill Gates owns more wealth than the bottom 45% of American households combined. In the fall of 1997, Gates was worth more than the combined Gross National Product of Central America - for you geography buffs, that's Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Nicaragua and Belize. By the fall of 1998, Gates' $60 billion was worth more than the GNPs of Central America plus Jamaica and Bolivia.

The US economy

1/United States: Distribution of Wealth

% of US Population % of Wealth Owned

==========================================================

Top 1% 38.1%

Top 96-99% 21.3%

Top 90-95% 11.5%

Top 80-89% 12.5%

Top 60-79% 11.9%

General 40-59% 4.5%

Bottom 40% 0.2%

Source: le monde diplomatique 2003

2/ A U.N. report shows that the income inconsistency among the world 's richest 20 percent of the populace and the poorest 1/5 widened from 30:1 in 1960 to 74:1 in 1997.

3/ About 0.13% of the world’s population controlled 25% of the world’s assets in 2004. Ignacio Ramonet, The politics of hunger, Le Monde diplomatique, November 1998

4/ 20% of the world’s population consume 86% of the world’s goods while 80% of humanity gets just the remainder 14%. (Eileen Alt Powell, Some 600,000 join millionaire ranks in 2004, Associate Press, June 9, 2005)

This wealth gap in the US has widened every year for the past 50 years. In essence the US has lost much in terms of average life quality, the US went from being a middle class nation, to a low income nation (with a tiny super rich elite). http://money.cnn.com/2006/08/29/news/economy/wealth_gap/

The US used to export 23.7 percent of its GDP versus 7.6 percent today, and registers a staggering deficit of 1.2 trillion in TRADE DEFICIT vs. a 4 billion dollar surplus in 1950 not retrograded) (http://www.epi.org/publications/entry/webfeatures_viewpoints_tradetestimony/

The US economy is essentially a giant credit card, (

), the US has to beg to other nations (hat in hand) not to claim the money they owe them.

But hey, you're allowed to enjoy your ignorance...

nice try ... by the way... no one said anything about a "FAILED" economy... a progressively weakening one certainly.. why lie Dancer?

My mistake, I misquoted your hyperbole...

Today the US is a hated country, with a ruined economy, and industrial base that is almost entirely offshore and in alien hands,

Speaking of lying....see quote above.
