Argus Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 People who believe in same-sex marriages don't GO to church. Argus' ass should have "Statistics Canada" tattooed on it from all the data he pulls out of there. You'd grab stats outa your ass too if your head wasn't taking up all the room in there. Ah, but having my head up my ass isn't against forum rules; pulling unsubstantiated "facts" out of there is. BubberMiley Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I don't believe I need to provide statistical backup for the obvious. What's obvious? You don't think gay people go to church? If they do, you don't think they're the type to be in committed relationships? I don't think it's obvious at all. In fact, I think it's bullshit. bradco Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I know lots of people who go to church and believe in gay marriage. My dads girlfriend goes to some Catholic church that even allows gays in, do you think gays support gay marriage? Quote
jbg Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I've been to westchester...nice town. I can't imagine though they would allow common taxis there, period..... Westchester is a highly varied county. The only places I have seen street hails are airports, train stations and major cities, such as NYC, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington. betsy Posted October 13, 2006 Author Report Posted October 13, 2006 do you think gays support gay marriage? I know that some gays want to preserve the traditional definition of marriage. A group of them took out a whole page ad supporting that it should be left alone the way it is! Quote

Let's hold a referendum some Sunday in Churches across Canada and see how many want gays to marry. I'm betting it won't be above 10% - and most of that in those nominally Christian churches which are really not very Christian at all. You know, the Sunday feel-good drop-in centres like the "United Church". The urban elites who sneer at everyone opposed to same-sex marriage as a dinosaur are not filling their local churches every Sunday morning. sharkman Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Bubber, you don't visit church much, do you. Quote
BubberMiley Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Bubber, you don't visit church much, do you. Only those feel-good social clubs Argus was talking about--the Protestant ones. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
jbg Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Bubber, you don't visit church much, do you. Loaded question. You and I usually agree, but, as you may or may not know, I never go to church to worship. I go to a different kind of facility.
