No one said they did.

No one disputes that. Why do you think it is important?

And? That is potentially true. They claimed they had the uranium stored in a different underground facility. They claimed they could have 10 or 11 bombs.

CBS

No one said they did make the weapon. What was said is that they could, potentially, make a bomb within 2 weeks.

In short, you took a bunch of complimentary statements out of context and assumed they are contradictory. Next time, pay attention to the entire argument, read multiple sources and formulate the full story before going off half cocked with a hair-brained conspiracy theory.

Why would the U.S. need to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities if, as Trump previously claimed, they'd been completely and totally obliterated' eight months ago in Op Midnight Hammer? In 2025, the Defense Intelligence Agency assessed that Iran's missile program was a decade away from being able to target U.S. shores. That hardly sounds like what was touted (take ur pick) as an imminent threat.

The truth is that only Trump knows the 'why' for attacking Iran (Israel's arguments notwithstanding)

The truth is that (likely) Trump believed it would be a slam dunk - a week, month at most. - the strait was not even considered.

If there was a strategy it was that they could peel off the current regime and after civil unrest (lol) install a sock puppet, ala Shah.

Oh, yeah, there was NO regime change in Venezuela .......... it was simply a rearranging of the chairs.

Gabbard, as head of DNI, and based on intelligence, provided an assessment, based on intel, to the Senate Intel Committee.

Trump, immediately condemned the assessment, 'I don't care what she said', it wasn't her, fool, it was ur intelligence committee and based on intel from a dozen sources.

It is like @Gaétan sees how stúpid @robosmith behaves and gets offended that he has one uped him/her.

That delusional diatribe of @Gaétan can't be sincerely held, right? That has to be someone lashing out to show how angry they are. They have to know how dúmb it sounds.

Trump getting the Strait closed is a payoff to US oil companies. As is the US blockaide of Iran oil bound for China.

Chinese tankers have recently transited the Strait, despite a U.S. naval blockade targeting Iranian ports. 🙄

U.S. oil companies are beneficiaries of the blockade, on the backs of U.S. consumers. 🤪

Russia is the BIG winner tho ............. sanctions have been removed from their oil sales AND the discounts they were offering on the sale of their oil have been removed ........ and prices increased.

OMG, man ..............keep up?

............ the problem is, unlike his 1st term, there is no-one with the ballz in his inner circle to tell him he's crazy and stupid.

The U.S. is in decline ......

The big question is whether Trump (ignorance) will defer the arms sale to Taiwan.

No question China's strategy (preferred)  is a repeat of Hong Kong.

Not mentioning the encyclopedia of Trump's duplicity does not mean I don't know about them.

It just means I am too lazy to detail ALL OF IT.

Yeah... it is a naval blockade of IRANIAN ports, not the entire Strait. Notice your deceptive language?

So... now you want Iran to be able to trade freely while they block everyone else that doesn't pay them?

You do little more than talk shit on the US all the time here... but now you are crying they are not going to do enough to protect Taiwan?

Where is the rest of the world you love so much?

Where do you live? Why are they not doing anything?

Taiwan is geo-strategic............ the strawman argument of defending democracy is BS.

Why is Taiwan strategic?

Because it is capable of doing what Iran is doing with the Str of Hormuz - blockade of Chinese ports.

China's lifeblood is the sea lanes - shipping to major Chinese ports pass within Taiwan's sea lanes.

Although China's strategy might be to blockade Taiwan, Taiwan could do one better on China - imagine the effect not only on China's economy, but the global economy.

China's preferred strategy would be to do a 'Hong-Kong' shuffle" - but first the Taiwanese need to be convinced the U.S. has abandoned them, politically and militarily (arms  support).

U see, Taiwan is not a threat ideologically as much as it is economically due to its location.

If China dominates Taiwan, the U.S. is finished in the Western Pacific ... and beyond.

Forget the Marianas............. no, the next bastion would be distant Hawaii.

Japan? Trump's busy destroying alliances .......... what a complete fool.

Arms sales to Taiwan are crucial ............... makes China realize the juice isn't worth the squeeze - they won't invade Taiwan - Taiwan has the power to shut  China  (Globe) down economically ......... China won't cut its nose off  to spite it's face.
