........... do ur homework .......... its as obvious as the nose on ur face

Good question ........... as much as I respect Israel they are a regional power, no oil, cold war is over, no strategic value?

The US is (was) a global power?

The US still is a global power. If they act wisely in the next few years, they can maintain that power.

But these senseless wars ain'-a helpin'.

Trump is killing the golden goose (tariffs) ............. the U.S. share of global commerce.

The U.S. economy is based on consumerism (domestic purchasing)  -  not manufacturing - never to return - too expensive.

Aggressive tariffs have not killed any of this for us, though.

These things are like small rudder adjustments on a gigantic ship meant to achieve both economic and other diplomatic means around the globe. It is not a net loss when weighed against other desired outcomes.

I don't even agree with much of the craziness nor that the President really has that power or should either.

Very little of your assertions on here are obvious on their face. You and others just assert BS on here all the time and then run when challenged, just like you are doing now.

An Iran with no Nuclear weapons, no capability to make them, and no aspirations to do so either... as well as a severely weakened Iran that is much less of a threat looming over our Middle East allies, ourselves, and interests in that region, and Israel.

Huh...ya...not buyin' it.

A nuke threat to Isreal maybe. But were I a bettin' man...I'd put money on Isreal using their non-existent nukes first.

The American population would disagree with you  - start with the price of fuel

A Tariff is a tax on consumers?

Domestic consumers?

It generates counter-tariffs, US exports get more expensive and/or are reduced.

By extension it raises inflation.

Inflation is bad, bad, BAD!

Trump introduced broad based Tariffs as a form of intimidation

The World ain't buying ............. literally.

Yes, I get it, you have some kind of disdain for Israel, that you don't even give a crap if Iran has a looming Nuclear threat over them.

Still doesn't change the objective facts I laid out or that you ignored Iran's regional terror threat.

Indeed..................... ala 3rd strike if necessary.

Here's a secret ............ Israel's ICBMs can reach out to  12K - no defense .......... don't tell anyone.....

The fear is nuke proliferation in the most strategic area on the planet. (energy)

I am not interested in your silly arguments about popularity.

That is the refuge of someone unable to articulate and stand behind their own positions objectively.

The argument was not about if a Tariff is a tax or not or its impacts on inflation.

You are just throwing mud at the wall now.

Iran doesn't appear to be too worried.  Trump does though...

Maybe he should look at changing up his negotiators?  This nepotism thing with Kushner and friend deal he's got with Witcoff doesn't seem to be working.

hoping for a good outcome, but the US cadre negotiators are amateurs ............ and they're playing with experts

Akin to Trump and Putin.............. I'd say that was funny but it is far more embarrassing.

The entire US administration are amateurs... trying to play experts.

Good call on that one... spot on!  They have Trump by the short hairs but good, and pulling harder today.  Ouch!!

Who are these experts in Iran you claim are experts?

The leadership has been killed repeatedly... they are sending in what is left. The fact that someone is obstinate in their refusal doesn't make them an expert.

I'm more concerned about the World ............. Trump will do fine ............ he really doesn't give a fk!

If he's worried about anything it  would be his legacy.

Isn't Isreal alooming nuclear threat to the Middle East? Yup. They are. One might call Iran getting nukes...leveling the playing field?

I think his legacy is mostly written.... and guessing there will be more shame to write about before he's done.

This will get sorted out at some point soon (?), but the world is going to be feeling it for a lot longer. SOR's for the 'haves' are being depleted while those most reliant of oil are hurting.  Well played Trump...

I'm on the left side of the fence but you won't hear me praising Biden...  Thought he was weaker president but also thought he had some class and morals, which is missing today.

To China. Much as we did. Much as Europe did. Dumb move. And then we doubled down on it with this net zero bullshit that is making energy so expensive in the West and driving yet more industry to China (and India and other 3rd world countries).

Him wanting to bring industry back is one of the areas I agree with Trump on, that and immigration and fighting the 'woke'.

Israel is a sane, western country.

Iran is run by a deathcult.

Not the same thing.

............. he was a sock-puppet ......... the political machine convinced him that he should go for a second bite - it was a conspiracy - the Left thought it would be a slam dunk against Trump - he could resign and Harris would assume the mantle.  When Biden's backers was convinced he was a losing gambit a primary could still  have been held - Harris would have lost (the primary)....... Trump would  have lost as well.

Trump was facing an existential threat in 2024 -  the stakes were HUGE for Trump - he was facing jail  time. (Dem pardon notwithstanding) The guy, his family and those surrounding him are corrupt  to a degree that makes a political hack blush. The so-called cabinet are positively scary with their incompetence and the degree to which they kiss the ring.

They are a national  embarrassment .................. but they are rich and don't care.

I figure the only  way for the GOP to regain  their backbone is to be in opposition - House, Senate and  Executive.

How  ironic,  Left-(tard) ideology being the saviour of what once was a proud party.

I agree with that....  but here we are in the midst of his second term with one misdeed after another.  Sad part is 'that's it's just another day' and nobody pays much attention to it.

Hopefully this bad movie is over before the next federal election...

............. likely the mid-terms will  be a malaise ..as designed.

The Speaker will play a key role in giving Trump the win.

Well, at least you are being more honest now, you clearly oppose Israel and cheer on Iran.

Oh man, I thought it was Trump who they had by the short hairs. Now you are complaining about the world having issues?

Maybe they should do something.

Is it class and morals to stay in office when you are not mentally fit?
