Wow, you must REALLY think you lost bad to be this triggered by simple facts :)

Kid a 12-year-old can easily understand the point. The fact that you're pretending you can't suggest you're having an emotional breakdown because I'm right and you can't refute it. This is as simple as it gets.

We're losing trade with the states. This is a bad thing. As you pointed out we could look to other countries to replace some of that but it really doesn't work. We could also be doing a lot more internally to improve our trade within Canada and that would help a lot more

It doesn't get more simple. The fact that you're hyperventilating and freaking out like a child is because you don't like the truth, not because the truth is hard to understand

If everyone was as smart as you, we'd all be screwed.

Trade doesn't really work, and we need to do more trade inter-provincially....  Got it.

That's not possible, carney said we got "The best deal in the world" on our tariffs

We do on the vast majority of things. I said 'sectoral".

the 'buy Canadian' thing should have HELPED our trade deficit with the US.

You didn't cite 'trade deficits', you posted a comparison of Canada vs Mexico total trade, and I explained why. We normally sell a LOT of those sectoral commodities to the US. Mexico does NOT. We WILL again. You just didn't get it.

As usual.

LOL Well I really appreciate you taking a few minutes to prove that you're nowhere near as smart as me  :P

We cannot replace the trade we've lost with America through international sources anytime this decade. We could if we focused Domestic trade however. But that would take some severe leadership and wouldn't be as popular

Honestly if you were half as smart as you think you are you'd still be twice as smart as you actually are :P

Did you look up the difference between foreign trade and inter-provincial trade yet?

Yes, it says I'm right and you're wrong and you're mentally retarded.

Waste of time. I knew all that

Hopefully the people negotiating this for us know that...

Where are we?  Last I saw from the US guy not all concerns will be resolved by July 1, but most will.  Waiting only benefits us with more pressure on Trump.... no revival of manufacturing jobs, just tariff inflation.

oh they know  a lot, they know How to handle trump, they know how to solve the housing crises, they know how to solve our broken military, they know how to fix health care, they know just about everything , what they don't know is how to fix any of it...ya waiting is costing us jobs....waiting is costing us opportunities, we have the worst economy in the G-7, worst everything really....but ya.. we hope they know what they are doing....well liberals do...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

JT and the Sunshine Band tried to screw Mexico with a unilateral NAFTA 2.0 side deal, but it looks like Mexico got the last laugh.

Quote

Mario Maldonado, a business journalist for the newspaper El Universal, said that Mexican negotiators were caught off-guard by Canada’s play to exclude it from a revised deal with the U.S. and were upset initially but ultimately “didn’t care so much about it” because it failed.

...“The two countries emerged with a complete deal to overhaul nearly every aspect of NAFTA. Despite the Canada-Mexico back-channel, Canadian officials were caught off-guard. Two sources said the Canadians didn’t even have all the details on what the other two countries had agreed to for days after the announcement,” the newspaper said.
