Typical rsponse from someone who can't tell the difference between a concrete cubicle and a home.
Obviously totally unable to give any advice whatsoever regarding gas prices or ways to save on them.

You are not offering advice on gas prices or how to save. You want people to buy an EV.

So don't buy one pf those. Who the hell would buy a home with no parking or no outdoor plug for a weed whacker?

You're acting like the few that aren't the market define the whole market. Like as if most people have one car so there's no market of second car buyers.

The vast majority of homes being built and occupied now are apartments and townhouses and that's been true for many many years

  • Dominance of Multi-Unit: Rental and condo apartments (multi-unit) have continued to lead new construction, often making up over 80% of all urban starts in major cities.

Number of Condominiums built in Canada versus number of detached homes - Google Search

As of a few years ago, multi unit housing grew to more than 50 percent of the occupied dwellings in Canada and that's increasing.

And for the majority of people living  in major metros that is ALL they can afford. Period.  And most can't even afford that.

Sooooo....

As usual you're completely out of touch.  "That" market IS the majority of the market and growing, and you're still a lying tard.

Oh FFS if you don't own a proper home, you're not in the new cat market. I just had to berate my own kid for buying a brand new car and still renting. Even I made that stupid irresponsible financial move when I was young back in the days when that would've been the entire down payment.

If you buy a 'home' with no driveway, lawn or garden you better get used to riding a bus. You can pretend your chunk of  LegoLand is property all you want.

Yes the var I bought is probably now the can holding your soup.
The house it could've been a down payment on at that time  is now worth north of $1.5 million.

The kid I installed a gaming card for bought a $145,000 truck and lives in his Mom's basement. Could've bought 3 mobiles on lots here, lived in one and earned $3000 a month renting out the others.
Hell, stay in Mom's basement, drive a beater and had %4K income form all 3.

It's hilarious that the same side of the spectrum that mocked concern about manufacturing jobs moving to China in the past is now into shaming people for buying stuff from China.

The 1% is laughing it's ass off the hardest.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Why did you let your corporations ship your hegemony to China if that's the case?

They got too tall for their britches. It’s time we take them down a notch. Your job can be replaced by third world peasants or robots it really doesn’t matter.

Who's britches, what notch?

I remember when people like you said everyone here just had to roll up their sleeves and work harder if they didn't want their factory to make the move to China.

It wasn't the corporations or their shareholders fault. They were probably terrified of their potential powerlessness.

That was after you tripled its value with your credit card right?

Imagine if you got another credit card, you could be up to 4.5 million!

After all these years you still can't figure out how I did that, can you?
Then again, all you critics inability to think beyond your self imposed little boxes reveals itself constanty in other posts.

Of course I can. We all figured it out pretty much when you said it. You lied your ass off :)

Really wasn't that complicated to break that code :P

He has a hard time keeping track of his lies. He'll be back to having an electric vehicle tomorrow if it suits his argument at that point

It's almost 400 km to visit my daughter, a specialist doctor, or a big box store. The ones with that kind of range are still too expensive.
I'm too old and sore to bounce around in a Wrangler anymore and want something comfortable, that isn't too big and saves gad too., Like a hybrid or a plugin. I was just offered a "hell of a deal" on a 2025 Kia Niro and passed on it when I found the MSRP of a 2026 was $500 less.

I rode in a friend's daughter's Tesla a while back and it was a nice car (granted I am a techie) and guess what? It was built in China.....

So for all your incessant arguing that everybody should own EVS and they are a perfect replacement for ice Vehicles, you've just admitted that they don't work for you and your circumstances.

LOL there must be a software app to help you track your fibbery better isn't there?

No I just admitted they're still too expensive for my budget at this time.
My Gawd, your so closed you can't see the box you're in.
I could top when I got there if I wanted to, but I don't want to. Hell, if the charger was in or close to a good Chinese, Vietnamese or Indian restaurant I'd already own one. But I don't go all the way to the city to eat at Timmies or McD's (chargers coming)

If I still lived in Langley, or Abotsford like my sister I'd be foolish not to consider a BEV.
Wanna know my #1 problem? With the seat all the way back, and the Wrangler's door fully open. I gotta pull my leg fully back against the seat and turn my foot 90 degrees to get out. And be carful to not step on the gas pedal too when I'm stopping. My size limits the selection.
When I had a Kei truck as a company promo, with winter boors on I could press all 3 pedals at once.

So in other words it doesn't work for your circumstances. Exactly what I said.

One of the things I like about you is that no matter how much of a twat you are, you're never afraid to double down and go MegaTwat

Same can be said of you.
No matter what you are told, you claim it was something entirely different so your can double down on illogical negativism towards anything.

There is no logical reason at all to oppose electric vehicles anymore, even less to oppose foreign goods that aren't even made here.

It's hard to tell, are you talking to your mirror or your hamster?

Most of the people here post facts I make logical arguments. But those on the left like yourself want no truck with either of those
