The reporter is Claire Hannah. She used to cover local teams but then moved down east. From there it appears she got a stage 4 case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Now, the official White House social media account has posted a fake video of Brady Tkachuk saying, “They booed our national anthem, so I had to come out and teach those maple syrup eating f*ckers a lesson.”

Trump should not be politicizing an Olympic win. Even as he mocks the women, he uses the men’s team as leverage – uses them as a propaganda prop - uses them to help normalize presidential crime, corruption and sexual predation.

But let’s be real - As soon as Tkachuk shook hands with Trump in the Oval office, he became Trump’s pawn.

I get it, mixing sports and politics isn't great.  That's why this picture made me vomit:

I also get that players are kind of forced into these situations.  I can understand why Brady would want to shake President Trump's hand, he's a great president who has instilled a lot of national pride in their country, while Carney has done everything to destroy Canada's national pride.  At least the US has a house that the President lives in that players can visit, unlike us who don't even have the spine to build a new house for the PM, given 22 Sussex has been condemned and is over-run with rats.  If Canada had won the gold, Carney would have had to meet them at an Arby's in downtown Ottawa.
