ironstone Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 Walz has decided not to run again. but if he did, I have a feeling he would still win again even though he's been shown to be incredibly incompetent and corrupt. Quote Beware the Brookfield industrial complex...

While certainly possible, it is unlikely that Walz would survive a party endorsement challenge and win the general election, even with a weak Republican candidate. More likely is a split vote that would give a third party candidate a decent chance, a la Jesse Ventura in 1998, who won as a Reform Party candidate. A majority of Minnesotans, including Democrats, do not want Walz to run again because it would be an unprecedented third term on top of the massive fraud cases. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
