No, the symbolism is from the lieberals.  We'll know when nothing gets done on the pipeline.  And rubes like you believe them, even after they've made everything in Canada worse over the last decade, you still support their terrible policies.  You'll be eating cat food at some points, still cheering on the lieberals for their greatness!  It reminds me how North Koreans view their leader. LOL

Btw, keep us all updated on the progress of the pipeline, let us know when the first shovel goes into the group ok?

Sad when some compainatives cannot see reality and do not want to read what is put in front of them hence they get real facts LOL

Yeah, the pipeline will be finished tomorrow but better yet...contact your local indigenous leader and ask them LOL

Like I said..ask your local indigenous leader when the build begins they hold the reins :)

Better yet, ask Conservative Premier Smith when she has gotten a group together to finance and build it LOL

I don't have an indigenous leader.  And they don't have final say regardless.  Carney has the authority to green light the project.  Nice spin though!  You dizzy yet?  LOL

Yes you do...all Canadians have an indigenous leader we have been paying for, subsidizing and taking care of since before confederation LOL

Oh and nope...the feds do not have approval any more. They have downloaded that to the Provinces.

I have no indigenous leader as they have no authority, whether they're being subsidized or not.  And no, specific to the BNA act, the federal government has complete jurisdiction when it comes to pipelines.  Nothing has been downloaded.  Not sure where you're getting that, other than to make excuses for Carney when nothing gets built.

The local indigenous leaders in bc say "no freaking way is this ever going to happen". Looks like you're wrong again :)

And carney knew that.  As i said from the beginning he's deliberately made sure that he's poisoned the well so that no pipeline will ever be built while pretending to build a pipeline.

And now the liberals just proved it. Voted against it because their caucus is entirely divided. Carney has been whispering to his people "Don't worry, it'll never be built, just go along with this", but now they've nailed their colours to the mast and it's obvious it was all a sham.

This isn't going to change the needle much politically, but it does show how utterly useless carney is at his job and this kind of thing piles up in the public's mind and erodes confidence.

HA HA HA.

You are talking about a conservative motion that had an amendment that had to be amended by the conservatives themselves and it was voted out....

Yup, if Carney is outmanoeuvred like this all the time.. he will be in power for a long time LOL LOL LOL

It's the feds. They're the ones in charge of working with the first nations.  IF they didn't have a plan to make them happy then they deliberately chose to fail.

My "leadres" have been clear on the issue of tanker bans for decades.

This was definitely a loss for Carney but like I said not exactly a decisive one. But it makes him look bad and it makes it clear to everybody that his cabinet is fractured

But the Conservatives decided to interfere and rewrite the agreement for a headline. That choice does more than waste time. It disrespects the communities who engaged in good faith. It sends the message that their concerns and their support can be edited out when politically convenient. This stunt just further insults them.

It's at least as insulting to the communities and province who  were left completely out of the MOU as if they didn't even exist.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,

Which is one of the reasons several pundits including myself questioned whether or not Carney really wanted this to happen

I mean leaving the first nations of BC out of the discussions as well as the government is basically farting in their face. There's no quicker way to make them pissed off. They will now resist this idea like crazy.

Especially when you invite the premiere of Saskatchewan who has absolutely nothing to do with this to the table.

I think that's what gave harper the idea for the vote. He knew carney was telling his people this would never happen and telling alberta it was full steam ahead and he wanted to try to expose that

I can't say if it's calculated or just inexperience.  But one thing is for sure, it's not a good way to get a pipeline built

LOL Three posts?!!?! All starting with your signature "I've lost and i'm crying" move? LOLOL

Holy snit kid, go tell mommy you need a triple change of diapers! You done crapped yourself hard :)

The liberal caucus just voted AGAINST mark carney's MOU and everyone is talking about it ;)   He backed Carney into a corner and carney didn't have any way to handle it, too many of his caucus refused to vote for his own MOU so he had to have everyone vote against it ;)  They literally shot themselves in the foot!

There are giant cracks in the liberal caucus and this just proves it.  And now the whole country is seeing it,

ANd now they go on chrismas break and carney won't get much chance to do something positive,

He got outplayed. Which is no surprise he sucks at this. No experience.

Not sure what you are getting at?

My point was PP made a motion in the house...then he had to amend the motion, then he had to amend the amendment. :)

Of course the libs and ndp and BQ voted against it... PP was not clear in what he was trying to do or say...

LOL yes yes, i accept your surrender, i appreciate you acknowledging you were wrong and understand that you're butt hurt over it,  :)

Poilievre simply outmaneuvered him with this one. Having your cabinet and your colleagues vote against your memorandum of understanding is obviously a blow. He should have thought that out a little more carefully. Sadly he couldn't get them to vote yes because a lot of them seriously disagree with it
