Radiorum Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 The Trump Action Tracker is a project led by Professor Christina Pagel, a UK-based health services researcher and science communicator. Professor Page created and maintains the dataset underlying the tracker, drawing on her background in data analysis and evidence-based policy to monitor and document how the trajectory of Trump’s presidency is aligned with the authoritarian playbook. According to the website: We are documenting the actions, statements, and plans of President Trump and his administration that echo those of authoritarian regimes and may pose a threat to American democracy. The total authoritarian actions taken by Trump since his inauguration now add up to 1786 (changes daily). Here's a summary as of today: Violating Democratic Norms, Undermining Rule of Law Undermining Democracy (494/494 actions) Hollowing State / Weakening Federal Institutions Hollowing State (147/147 actions) Suppressing Dissent / Weaponising State Against 'Enemies' Suppressing Dissent (461/461 actions) Controlling Information Including Spreading Misinformation and Propaganda Controlling Information (219/219 actions) Control of Science & Health to Align with State Ideology Attacking Science (313/313 actions) Attacking Universities, Schools, Museums, Culture Attacking Education (155/155 actions) Weakening Civil Rights Weakening Civil Rights (352/352 actions) Corruption & Enrichment Corruption (132/132 actions) Aggressive Foreign Policy & Global Destabilisation Foreign Policy (220/220 actions) Anti-immigrant or Militarised Nationalism Nationalism (362/362 actions) Here’s the last three actions added to the growing list: 1786. The United States conducted another attack on an alleged drug trafficking boat in the eastern Pacific on Saturday, killing three people aboard, the Pentagon said on Sunday. 1785. A US judge on Monday found evidence of “government misconduct” in how a prosecutor aligned with Donald Trump secured criminal charges against James Comey, the former FBI director, and ordered that grand jury materials be turned over to Comey’s defense team. Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick ruled on Monday that the justice department engaged in a “disturbing pattern of profound investigative missteps” on its way to indicting Comey. 1784. A new report from former military officials warned that there was a risk of the armed forces being politicized by the administration. The report warns that increasing domestic military deployments, such as using national guard troops for immigration enforcement in the US, and removing senior military officers and legal advisers have made the armed forces appear to serve partisan agendas. 1 1 Quote

On its face, it is a list about authoritarianism, and then it creates a category for how Trump is reducing the size and scope of the federal government... LOL Also, typical leftist nonsense in trying to define authoritarianism as enforcing existing immigration laws and not allowing the open borders lawlessness to continue, which leftists support. Quote

Talk about obtuse! If the only thing you are aware of is "enforcing immigration laws" and completely in the dark about the myriad of ways in which Trump is turning the presidency into an autocracy, you are woefully uninformed. 1 Quote

The way it is being used is the same. Your examples here are a perfect example for what a load of BS this list is. Trump didn't not pay public defenders since July, Congress passed a CR that kept 2025 funding frozen at 2024 levels, and the costs exceeded the appropriations and ran out in July. OMG, Trump is an authoritarian! Closing Siesmic monitoring stations in Alaska... OMG, Authoritarian! You read the fine print, Biden administration ended these grants in 2024, Alaska picked up the bill hoping they would be renewed this year. They were not. See, this is why this list is BS. 18 minutes ago, Radiorum said: You're the one that made it about illegal immigration for some unfathomable reason! No, your list did. King George taxed them, took away their local governments, made them house and feed troops and made them fight for land they could not occupy. They had a valid set of grievances. Trump enforced the border laws, lowered taxes, lowered regulations, ended wars/conflicts, took the fight to narco terrorists, reduced government waste/fraud/abuse, negotiated new trade deals, secured trillions in new economic development, and renamed the Gulf of America. Your life, whether Canadian, American or other, has gotten substantially better. Substantially. If you see that as a problem, it is a derangement: the state of being completely unable to think clearly or behave in a controlled way, especially because of mental illness. Trump derangement syndrome is aptly named. Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
