That's the nicest thing you've ever said about me.

Probably.

I get your need to complain. You're watching all your Libbie "progress" be dismantled. And by Trump...of all people. The icky icky poo poo guy.

What I can't abide is people actually complaining about policies and orders that benefit you and your nation. Your insistence on pressing this whole "authoritarian" BS is misguided at best...Tweenkie as Hell and actually destructive.

Every time your Libbie courts put a halt to a policy, Trump does what he can till a higher court eventually releases the order.

Nothing you argue is wholly true. Its all...laced with some sort of odd empathy that forces you to act in direct opposition to your own well being...and the well being of your family.

Hence I think you an odd sort.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Here's your first error. Believing that people who point out the lawlessness and authoritarianism of Trump are merely complaining. Every informed, right-thinking person understands the grave danger Trump is to America.

I'm Canadian, so I am not sure what you mean.

Do you know that Trump has parroted Putin on everything he has ever said about Ukraine? If Putin said it about Ukraine, Trump copied it:

-      Not a real country

-      The border between countries is an artificial line

-      The people really want to join our country

-      History necessarily leads to this annexation

-      They are our brothers, and yet at the same time our enemies.

What have you read to the contrary?

The absence of empathy is one of the early signs of autocracy

Our principles differ. It seems your most-often stated principle is to "get the Libbies"

What a small frame of reference.

Every informed? Are you suggesting the SCOTUS is not informed?

OK. Me too.

Yes. I do know these things. I also know the entire context of the points you've posted. This is just another example of the half-truths you Libbies like to tell.

Perhaps. But I never said people should not have empathy. Only that it should not dictate one's decision but should be one of the variables considered. Its an intellectual thing.

Wrong. Dead wrong. I'd prefer to be able to just ignore you Libbies, as was the case not to long ago. Extremists who run around tossing soup on priceless art. My primary concern is with public safety, financial security and common sense. Trump...Vance...DeSantis...it could be anyone as long as the public good is being addressed.

Not spent.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Ah yes, the No True Scotsman fallacy now.

You can’t actually rely on the merits of any argument you can make, so this is what you are left with.

Ah! The division between rationality and emotion? What should drive a nation? What should drive a person?

What balance can we find?

You're funny. You make me laugh.

I went to Scotland in 2012. Loved it. The Highlands are otherworldly.

Short term goals like...public safety, financial security and common sense?

You're such an enemy to society.

Your "sense" is not "common" just because it's what YOU BELIEVE.
