It matters nothing that it's a low skill job. Why it generally attracts more immigrants is that it's an under-staffed industry with typically lower pay that most people don't aspire to 'work' towards as their career. Then when there's accidents it's now political because of immigration numbers, lack of training, shady giving of licenses, or anything other that fits your political leaning.

It's a never ending debate with you fools...  Of course the accident wouldn't have happened if that driver wasn't in the country, and wouldn't have happened either if the cars involved weren't around him at the time.  It's a case of drunk driving by the looks of it so don't make it out as a national emergency because of a lax border.  Maybe put the focus where it should be...drunk driving.

I cited a similar incident in 2018 when your guy was president.  Is that any different than this guy illegally crossing the southern border when Biden was president?

This is just one example among many for the hundreds of thousands of criminal illegal immigrants (engaged in more crime than just being here illegally) that has been going on and folks like you on the left don't care about and openly support sanctuary city policies that just let these criminals go rather than alerting ICE to deport them.

Here's my objection to the program and based on experience, I think there is more to this than meets the eye:

It has nothing to do with high skill / low skill... it's about employers eliminating / ignoring Canadian workers to save money and /or receiving kickbacks.

Before I left the industry, it got to the point that I would send a copy of the helicopter job ad plus my covering letter and resume to the Minister of Labour with each application... to no avail BTW.

Take it for what it's worth...I'm still not going to trade insults with those who enjoy doing that or try to justify why flying helicopters under IFR conditions isn't a low skill job.

Not sure how you from driving a truck to flying helicopters but 100% agree...  I wouldn't try to suggest flying a helicopter is a low skill job.  At the risk of another insult...driving a truck is though.

Don't need to. What we do know is that this guy was here ILLEGALLY and if the laws were enforced instead of Biden letting him go, he would not have been here and would not have killed these people.
