• One agent suggested the problem extended beyond the bureau to D.C. U.S. Attorney's office, indicating a more widespread problem with political bias. 

  "Currently, the US Attorneys office is dictating what it is that gets investigated. This is a dangerous precedent because we can barely get them to prosecute investigations that clearly meet thresholds needed for Federal prosecutions," the agent wrote. "However, their willingness to conduct a search warrant on someone's life for a misdemeanor seems ridiculous. It is unreasonable for the FBI to conduct investigations involving misdemeanor violations at a federal level... it is not our role."

In case and left4rds are trying to read that, here's a summary:

1. The "US Attorneys Office" is part of the DoJ, which was headed by Biden-appointee Merrick Garland from March 2021 through the end of the J6 Select Committee scandal. Garland was a failed SCJ nominee for the Democrat Party. 
2. the allegation from that FBI agent (which is known to be true, with no shortage of court-documented evidence) is that the DoJ was not allowing the FBI to investigate serious crimes with ample evidence, but was instead sending them to hunt down people for misdemeanour offences, which does not meet the FBI's criteria for involvement, and that the reason for those investigations was purely political in nature.

The "most persistent complaint:

• The most persistent complaint was that the bureau during the James Comey and Chris Wray era had become infected with political biases and liberal ideology that treated the protesters from the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter riots far differently than those arrested in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 episode.

Any reasonable person understood that the number of arrests and convictions of BLM supporters was inversely proportional to the amount of serious violence and destruction they caused. A very small fraction of serious crimes resulted in arrests, charges and convictions.

The number of arrests and convictions of J6 rioters was also inversely proportional to the amount of serious violence and destruction they caused, but in that instance the amount of jailtime issued was astronomical compared to the amount of damage done and the seriousness of the violence.

The DoJ under Biden was a banana-republic-level farce.
