gatomontes99 Posted August 8, 2025 Report Posted August 8, 2025 (edited) WSBT CBS I am late to the game on this one. Honestly, I don't know how I missed it when it first came out. Gavin Newsom funded an office for his wife, in the style of the Office of the First Lady. He called it the Office of the First Partner. That, in and of itself, is not news worthy. What is news worthy is the pay to play, money laundering that went through this Office. The state paid her Office to further her agenda. Her office then paid her nonprofit to produce gender films. Those gender films were produced, in part, by her for profit company. The nonprofit was paid by schools, at the State's urging, to play the videos she made. Gavin's wife netted millions. Did anyone else miss this story? There is an interview at the source above. The video is 5 minutes long and at 4 minutes they really get into what was probably illegal about all of this. But you need to see the first 4 minutes to really understand the way they laundered money so that she could take millions in state funding and put it in her pocket. Michael Hardner Posted August 9, 2025 Report Posted August 9, 2025 America is becoming corrupt, as a side effect of the partisanship. This did happen before as well. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner
Moonlight Graham Posted August 13, 2025 Report Posted August 13, 2025 I love California except that its filled with crazy people. 1 Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.
CdnFox Posted October 19, 2025 Report Posted October 19, 2025 Hardly shocking. Corruption is not limited to the democrats by any stretch of the imagination but it is most prevalent there Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."
