I am not done reading this document. I just wanted to post this nugget from the document Grassley declassified 2 days ago.

By way of forming a consensus relative to the candidacy of Hllary Clinton, Barack Obama, leading the Democratic Party (DP), sanctioned use of all administrative levers to remove possitbly negative effects of the FBI investigation of the business of the Clinton Foundation and the email correspondence of the State Department.
Based upon information from Wassemann Schultz (sic], the FBI does not anticipate any kind of direct evidence against Clinton, as there was timely deletion from the email servers. The political director of the Hillary Clinton staf, Amanda Renteria [PH), regularly receives information from Loretta Lynch of the Department of Justice, on the plans and intentions of the FBI. Active work s being done on clarification mostly with potential witnesses: the primary witnesses are a number of computer specialists in the Clinton private circle. They represent the only tools which may be used in this matter. Therefore, the threat is minimal....

Finally, as described above, the reports also included an allegation, equally lacking in credibility, that Comey was "leaning more to [R]epublicans, and most likely he will be dragging this investigation until the presidential elections; in order to effectively undermine the chances for the [Democratic Party] to win in the presidential elections." Comey did not inform Lynch or Yates of this information, let alone discuss with them whether it might be leaked or whether, if it was, it might undermine his credibility as a spokesman.
As a result, we did not find Comey's concerns that information about Lynch in the reports or any underlying communications would be released by DCLeaks or Wikileaks to be a persuasive justification for departing from well-established Department policies and acting unilaterally to announce the FBI's recommendation.

Section 8 of Senate Resolution 400, 94^th Congress, 2^nd Sess. (1976)

Standing rules of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) give the committee the authority to declassify and publicly disclose information in its possession, after a vote affirming that the disclosure would serve the public interest. Rules require the committee to notify and consult with the Senate Majority and Minority Leaders prior to the SSCI notifying the President. This procedure gives the President an opportunity to object in writing to the disclosure within a five-day window of being notified of the SSCI vote. The President must provide the reasons for why the national interest in keeping the information classified outweighs the public interest. In such instances, the question of disclosure is referred to the entire Senate in closed session for consideration. The Senate can approve or disapprove the disclosure of all or part of the information in question, or refer all or part of the information back to the SSCI for a final decision.

Why do you assume they're my hero's...  I think Trump's a POS but that doesn't mean I automatically think all democrats are heroes.  I did like Obama and Bill Clinton though.

I'm not so sure if it will be priceless or pathetic. Trump's hell bent on retribution and his never ending petulance of going after anyone he dislikes isn't all that becoming of a president, or a country.  That's who he is and what they've become though so have it...  Doubt anything will come from it other than just another thing to deflect attention from his latest gaffe.
