If it was inevitable then the government wouldn't need the legislator mandate it would it.

You know why cars didn't need government subsidies and laws banning horses in order to replace horses? Because cars were actually better than horses and everybody knew it. So people went out and bought cars and didn't buy horses anymore

If it was inevitable that EVS would replace ice engines then the government wouldn't need to lift a finger. People would be out there buying eVs and be unwilling to purchase ice vehicles

That is not what is happening.

ROTFLMAO!!!   You totally said that but I love that your defense is "I never said that but I'm totally saying that!"   LOL well ok sparky :)

Once again you can't actually deal with the comments that were made. Like a child you deflect and try and turn the conversation to something else. The issue was why shouldn't people be allowed to choose. If they are such a good idea why are people having to be forced by law to make this decision instead of coming to it on their own?

And why are you personally opposed to choice?

Why not try addressing those points instead of making yourself look like a three-year-old who needs his diapers changed.

Damn you're hopeless....  exactly what point do I need to address.  Auto makers are evolving to electrification or that I think it's a good idea.

Liberal Housing Minister hid $11M real estate portfolio from ethics commissioner

Isn't this a crime?

I guess we'll see the evidence when charges are laid and the Minister is in court.

Any idea when that'll be?

We can only dream...

LOL ohhh look , you got schooled  again and can't think of a reply so somehow you want it to all be my fault again :)  LOL well you're nothing if not predictable

Are you having trouble with english comprehension again?  You said it was inevitable and i said it wasn't. You said the car manufacturers are making the decisions and they're not, the gov't is.

And i'm right, which is why you're having a hissy fit now.

If anything the automakers are going in the other direction

Automakers Have Backtracked On Their EV Goals By Millions Of Cars

IF automakers thought it was great and the consumers thought it was great, there would be NO NEED for the gov't to subsidize it.  And if they REALLY considered it to be a huge part of the climate fight they'd have the chinese ev' s and phevs here already, those are affordable enough that they don't even need subsidies

Again you have no rebuttal and no point. Try not being an uneducated twat.

LOL mind you it's always funny to watch you scuttle like mad to get under the nearest rock when you can't make an argument :)

So tell me oh angry one.... was it all the facts and links i provided that proved you wrong that upset you? or was it just that you realized i was right and if this was working there'd be no subsidies?  I'm just curious which bit of fact or reason drove you over the edge this time? :)

The facts are that many of the comments in this thread are twisted because MP's have NOT yet had to disclose their investments.  For whatever your reason you want to read that Robertson is hiding holdings because he wants to see supply dictate the price of housing, and happens to have real estate wealth.  This hasn't been disclosed so to think he hid his assets from the ethics commissioner is BS.

The public is set to find out more about the land and asset holdings of Canada’s new housing minister.  That’s because the deadline is fast approaching for all MPs to detail their investments and potential conflicts of interest to the federal ethics commissioner, who will post the information on the public registry.

What the hell does that have to do with eV manufacturing?

Oh, right. You lost that argument embarrassingly and this is where you try and change the subject and pretend we were never talking about that. My mistake, i'll play along.

Robinson did not disclose as he was supposed to. If he continues to refuse to it'll be criminal but that doesn't change the fact he hasn't and should have. Further when asked direct simple straightforward question he evaded the question and refused to give an answer.

There's no doubt he's hiding something because he hit something.

So that leaves us to motive. The motive is pretty clear, he's in charge of housing and he is aware that there are people who are going to claim that because he has tens of millions of dollars of real estate holdings he will not pursue policies that are going to see the cost of housing come down.

That is why he is hiding the truth. Anybody with an IQ in the triple digits can see that.

More importantly he does not want the supply to dictate the price. What both he and the prime minister have claimed is that they want to dictate the price for very select certain first time buyers and allow the pricing for everyone else to remain high. Which is a nice idea but it's absolutely impossible to achieve, at least with any kind of sustained success

Basically he wants prices to be low and high at the same time. Welcome to the Schrodinger Mortgage Company :)

So once again you seem to be wrong across the board.

If he was an honest man and the liberals were honest people you should have come forward when this came up and told the truth and been able to address the question of how he can be impartial  when he has so much wealth tied up in real estate. If he can't answer that, then carney needs to explain why he's housing minister.

You are seriously annoying.... I've told you what I think about ICE vehicles and EV's, and there has been nothing hidden by Robertson.  Next....

Now they'll be selling the cars the carney tells them to. So let's not split hairs

Globalist WEF Carney has big money invested in trying to get as many EV's as he can sold in Canada. Corney prefers to have only EV's sold in Canada by 2035, and the globalist dictator is using the climate crisis bullshit to try and to so. Corney has said that there will be no more ICE vehicles sold in Canada by 2035. What more proof do we need? The prik is truly only looking out for his greedy self and his bank account.

Carney doesn't sell cars, auto manufacturers do and they're not evolving their vehicle offerings because Canada is mandating in 2035.  All governments are regulating to achieve climate goals and address environmental concerns, along growing customer demand.  You'll have choices galore in 10 years, but they'll mainly be EV.  You'll come around....and maybe have one of the 'I 💚 earth' bumper stickers by then...

Carney is trying to get Canada into the EV auto selling business by him trying to put his competitor car ICE making manufacturers out of business. Corney has big money invested in EV's, and that is why he does not want any ICE vehicles sold in Canada by 2035. Only a Marxist dictator will try to force his citizen's to do what he says and live with it. Way the go all you silly arse imbeciles that voted for that communist dictator in Ottawa. Have you no shame, fools? ☹️
