Ontario MLA pay raises.

Well-well-well, while most of Ontario citizen's are struggling to survive with the economy the way it is, what does Premier Doug Ford of the progressive conservative party do to help the situation? Ford decides to raise the members salaries in the Ontario parliament by 35%. I repeat 35%. 

This is a shameless act and anact of i could not give a crap about the Ontario taxpayer's tax dollars of Ontario. Instead of those thieves taking a 35% drop in their salary, they decide to raise it by 35%. A disgusting bunch of scumbags. 

This is just one prime example of how politicians all over Canada show real concern about the taxpayer's tax dollars of this stupid country. Steal more tax dollars from the sheeple. If no one can not see the contempt and even hatred that our politicians have for we the taxpayer's than they must be bloody well stupid. 

This is just another theft, and sadly, they will get away with it, unless the people revolt. We can get thousands of people out for a gay pride parade, but when it comes to being robbed of their tax dollars by their thieving politicians, they will just sit back and take it and just whine. 

This country is not worth a bag of crap. It needs to die and go rest in peace because the things that need to be fought for are not fought for at all. RIP Canada. Works for me. 🤗

But MPP (not MLA) pay has been frozen since 2009. 

It's still an above average salary, but you're not going to attract quality candidates if the starting salary hasn't changed for 15 years.

Since when did Canada ever have any qualified candidates to run a country? So far, all we ever get from those so called candidates is more taxes, more government, and less freedom, not to forget about Marxism wokeism. A qualified candidate is someone like Trump who knows how to get rid of big government, high taxes, and save freedom. 

Politicians in these days of high inflation and prices for everything gone up politicians did not deserve a raise of 35% but the average Joe and Mary sixpack do. The average working person is lucky if they can get a 2% raise in three years. 

Politicians of all people should not be getting a raise of 35%. Once again, this is just more stealing from the taxpayer's and showing just more contempt for we the sheeple. Disgusting indeed.

Having me around to remind people like you that in order to form a government you need to have a viable leader that can convince Canadians he is the one they want to be the PM ....and 3 elections in a row Canadians chose that !diot Trudeau over the ones you put in as conservative leader.

They no doubt got perks in other forms. Why would anyone want to be a politician if they were just getting by with less than what some Canadians were making. They were probably making way too much money already and maybe a smaller raise would have been better. Just seeing anyone today getting a 35% raise in these hard times is hard to fathom.
