Lower Court ruled that it would disrupt education. Supreme Court, Trump's supreme Court, lets the ruling stand.

Makes sense I suppose.

What about "gravity exists" t-shirts?  Or "the earth is round"?  Those also get banned?

No, because people wouldn't care.

Yeah.. answering that question doesn't mean that part of the culture war.

I already explained to you that having a position doesn't mean you're part of the culture of war.

And you haven't responded to that particular point either, to explain why it's wrong..

You might as well be dressed up like a clown at a circus, telling me that you have no position on clowns or their circus acts while you are making an inflatable balloon animal for me.

Sure. Sure. You are not part of the circus. You just have a position on clowns...

I made a point and you came back at me with an insult.

Do you have anything to say on this or just insults?

I'll repeat: having a position on any issue does not make you part of the culture war.

You are in the culture war so you see only partisans and enemies.

Shady is not my enemy.

An insult? Nowhere did I insult you. What is insulting is your inability to see a clear analogy to make a point.

I will repeat, as I did in the past discussion and you ignored, you have created multiple threads on these issues across multiple sections of this forum as well as brought this up in other threads.

You do not merely have a position; you push your position, you advocate for your position, you defend it, and you are, in fact, just as much a part of any culture war on this subject as anyone else is.

Once again, posting an opinion doesn't constitute "pushing" it.

Posting an opinion isn't tantamount to joining your boring little war.

Creating threads, arguing your positions... it is all just semantics for you to quibble over calling that "pushing" when the reality doesn't change.

You are on one side of the culture war here, all dressed up and ready for battle, you just want to pretend you are not.

Just as people on your side use these kind of deceptive tactics to wage your side of the war.

I am no more a warrior than you are, the only difference is that I don't try to pretend I am not.

You admit you're a warrior. You think you are at war with me.

I just think that you're a curious fellow.

That is all.

Yes, I 100% wholeheartedly disagree with you on the various issues around trans ideology that you argue for on here, that you support on here, and that you defend on here.

Again, the difference is that I don't try to pretend I am not doing these things, you are.

That is not curious; it is a calculated tactic that people like you engage in, to further your side.

Well they're lucky people are sheep now.
We didn't worry about damned courts and schools in the 60s. When they insisted on no jeans for girls, the whole student body walked out. Classes taught on the field by sympathetic teachers.
Then we walked out as teachers could smoke in the cafeteria but not students. Out with that one too.
In Grade 9 a Good Chrischum TwoShoes objected to a book in the Library so they pulled it. We made sure every kid read passed around copies and pointed the offensive part to them. It was about some guy wiping his ass with dollar bills FFS.

And I see Alberta's joined the Maple MAGA book ban movement. A friend just went out and bought Handmaid's Tale so her 14 year old could read it. She was reading Steven Kind on her own at 9 and 10

If the books are banned, how did he buy it?

Banned from schools dummy! Or do you like the MAGA good ole days of the 1950s when they actually did have national book bans!

So, you are a big fan of making sure Kindergartners have access to Porn in school?

There are always constitutional issues that have to be tested, and considered by higher courts with regards to education.

In the mid-20th century these were around segregation, and religion in the schools.

Yep the last time we said the Lord's prayer in school was Grade 2 in the early 1960s. There was no segregation. 1/5 to 1/4 the school was Asian and there was A black kid. The rest was a veritable United Nations from every Eurpean country and everywhere else.
James Bond was the rage then, so most of us had read every novel by Grade 7. Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies and 1984, Fahrentheit 451 by Grade 8. And seen the big brother's girlie mags before Jr High.

None of them turned anyone into perverts or trannies or made any of us gay.

1. Are you talking about your personal experience?

2. Seems so.

3. How would you know? 😂

Anyway, interesting that the school banned it because, it seems, there would be arguments or disruption.

Rather than protecting the rights of trans kids.

That's where things sit in the US.  Not like Canada.

What rights are not being protected that you are concerned about?

Once again... here you are, fighting your culture war.

1. I didn't express any concern. I just outlined the differences in the legal case, from a state point of view.

2. Anytime I express an opinion, no matter how objective, you see red. Who is fighting again?

You presume your comment is objective, it is not.

You are fighting right now.
