Do you blame them:

Well, yeah, that and Tay Tay. That's what is left of the industry. And it's not like older people hear this and find it shocking the way they did with music years ago. Rockstars were bad and scared your parents. There are no Jim Morrisons or Axl Roses nowadays. Maybe that's a good thing, too. The 20th century rockstar was glorified for behaving terribly. But it really seems like music has gone nowhere. I don't remember ever sitting in my grandfather's car and asking him to turn up whatever he was listening to.

1. the very idea that DEU does not favour minority over merit...is pure bullshit. Unmitigated slop.

2. merit is colour blind and you know it.

1. Then why do we have to eliminate it? They're all just lying anyway? Why won't they just hire people because of their color and say they're better? What's the point of a program? Obviously there's a big conspiracy around where HR and hiring managers all over the Western World are hiring unqualified people.

2. Since when is the question.

The new style of singing seems to be "don't even bother trying to hit any notes or have any melody. Act like you're on the sofa and you're too lazy to open your mouth all the way."

Seriously, "Save me from the club, mommy"?

Do those guys try to get each other pregnant?

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

1. A couple of times in recent years, I've had to take a DEI course and test. Perhaps you have as well? Inevitably, one of the questions is something like...

You're a hiring manager for a position that requires certain basic skills. You have 10 applicants. Of them, 2 meet the requirements and of those 2, one meets and exceeds the requirements and the other just meets them. The more qualified of the 2 is Caucasian. The lesser qualified is a coloured minority. Who should you offer the position to?

Of course, the "correct" answer on this test question is, the coloured minority. However that sets aside merit for DEI. And indeed, this is a form of conspiracy. Its also a case of government coercion. As in "The Employment Equity Act".

2. Stop trying to side-step. Merit is being ignored in order to employ minorities over the most qualified. THAT is bigotry.

In the 1900s we had big changes in music every decade. Now there is no generation gap.

My son plays in a Metal band. Can't say he's made me a fan of the genre, but I have a great admiration for their passion and commitment to the moment, and how that moves a club full of young people.

My dad always had the car radio on the 'oldies' station - big bands, Frank, Dean.... I'm so grateful that he did 'cause I now equally appreciate Zappa and The Mills Brothers.

1. Yeah I have never had that question... pretty sure you could find an example in the wild...
2. I haven't seen it, how many times do you want me to tell you ?  My work is almost all immigrants, mostly because all the IT people I know quit working to flip houses or surf the bitcoin wave 20 years ago.  If you don't relate then maybe we just live in different worlds then.

I too work in IT. I can tell you from experience that offshore IT staff...mostly from India...is not only abhorrent to me as it steals jobs for local folks, but in my experience they need to do tasks at least twice in order to get it right.

Absolutely, I can understand that. I liked a lot of older music as well. But I didn't like much of what my grandfather listened to. I was a 90s teen, but I listened to mostly 60s and 70s music back then. But I was a minority.

What stands out to me now is how much more common it is for kids to be into music that is 40 - 50 years old. I think a lot of it is that as far as the music industry is concerned rock n roll is dead. Or just any kind of band music is dead. I mean of course it still exists but it's very indie. A lot of kids still love that raw powerful music.

Some kids are as dumb as their parents

I seem to recall a post about someone's kids who "can see a bullshitter", which then went on to talk about how his BS-wary children support Carney 😂

Talk about stupid lol.

and suddenly believe the BS that Tories have taken a 180 and now stand for the best interests of working people.

Yeah, such a 180, genius.

"Workers" noticed the rising price of gas, groceries, housing, energy bills, interest rates, etc caused by Trudeau.

Workers remember being forced to take the jab to keep their job.

It's workers that utterly detest the sub-human pieces of shit in the LPOC.
