The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

There is going to be a fair amount of this sort of self delusion on the left. And it's hardly unique to the left, we've seen conservative parties go soul searching after a loss as well.

The thing is many democrats came to believe the things he believes not from logic or reason but through tribalism. It's a matter of faith to them. Letting that go will be extremely difficult and we already see on this forum how easy it is for some to take the fax and reinterpret them in a fashion that's pleasing to them even if that conclusion is absolutely bat crap crazy.

I would imagine that for the next 6 months or so we're probably going to hear a lot of discussion about what the party did wrong and where it should go from here and what kind of new leader they should seek out and so on and so forth. And a portion of that conversation will be the argument turtle boy here presents

It's literally who I was thinking of. But then I thought it might be two others or it just might be the hive mind.
