When you have a car with cup holders like this, which cup holder is the driver's and which is the passenger's?

I say, without reservation and with full knowledge that my way is the only correct way, that the rear holder is reserved for the driver. This is because the reach is shorter and the driver doesn't have to navigate the passenger's drink. Putting the Driver's beer in the front cupholder is just dangerous.
