Fact is (and donalds already admitted he did it), donald hatched and implemented a plan to install fake electors in multiple states.  He then attempted to coerce his vice president to certify those fraudulent electors, or at the very least, not certify the legitimate electors. 

Had Pence  gone along with donalds scheme, donald would of disenfranchised millions of voters and illegally retained the presidency.

These are the facts.

Donald doesn't deny them.

Donalds claiming all this fraudulent activity was an "official act ".

Donald thinks his attempted coup d'etat was an "official act ".

That's not really a fact. That's your interpretation.

All parties involved in that agree that he believed that alternate voters were legitimate and that the law would allow for it.

It is further agreed that he didn't falsify anything when he turned in the documents, he just hoped that Pence wouldn't follow up and verify whether or not the alternate voters had been used.

And his mind this is all  above board and legalEven though he's taking advantage of a sort of loophole and bending the intent of the law

But then again how is that different than the democrats going after him for"felonious bookkeeping" In order to pressure a political opponent and basically did exactly the same thing. They just happened to have the judge on their side in that case.
