What?

How can you be the change candidate and the incumbent?

The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

She's not the incumbent. Not any more than G.H.W.B was running as an incumbent to succeed Reagan or Gore to succeed Clinton.

VPs are their own people.

Didn't Bush and Gore win primary elections? You know...democratically?

She's literally running because she's the incumbent.  She was vice pres when the current pres had to step down because he was whackadoodle.  She's literally where she is because she's part of the incumbent gov't.  If she wants to be her own people win a nomination.

Yes she is. She cannot separate herself from the policies without criticizing Joe Biden and herself. Saying there needs to be a new way forward is an admission that her and Joe's policies were bad.

Sure, no VP running for the top job has ever presented new policy ideas or a new message.🙄

And it's pretty easy to be the "change candidate" against the massive sack of crap that is a recently fired, one-term, twice-impeached, convicted felon who feels like an ex that America is waaay over and ready to move on from.

Why would you say something so intellectually dishobest?

Sure they do - they present it  when they run for the nomination and everyone gets to hear it in detail and dems decide if they support it or not and nominate them.  Not all will be nominated but if they are they have the right to stand as their own voice.

Harris did that right? She went through the nomination process to win the right to stand seperate from the administration she currently is part of right?

ooooopssssiieeeeee

Yes it does. If what they did was working, they wouldn't need a new way forward.

A "new way forward" may be BETTER than a way that was working.

Improvement is ALWAYS ACHIEVABLE. Duh

Which is his personal preference when it comes to pulling things and we shouldn't be judging :)

What don't you understand about the meaning of "personal preference"?

Do you believe pols never make policy based on their personal evaluation of the effects? LMAO

She's been part of the administration. She has repeatedly claimed to be the last person in the room on major decisions. She owns the policies and their results. Saying she wants a "new way forward" is an admission that what she did isn't popular enough to get her elected.
