The money is gone in alot of cases now you are going to target people after forcing them out of work? Quote
exPS Posted June 27, 2024 Report Posted June 27, 2024 If it is run by the government, good luck. Of course if the PS were "clued in", fraud would not be an issue. But of course, when it is not your money, it is easy to pi$$ away. Quote Definitely not a YES man aka "a follower". The prime directive of any government from the City to the Federal level is to implement the wishes of the people, so let us vote on-line on how we spend my tax dollars.
Goddess Posted June 27, 2024 Report Posted June 27, 2024 Part of the economic pickle we are in right now is because there were SOOOOOO many citizens who took the benefit fraudulently. I know two who did. And there's was no reason why 15 year olds still living at home should have been collecting it. That part was ridiculous. Well there is some validity into the excuse that time was of the essence and they didn't have time to set it all upright and process and verify a bunch of accounts at a time of crisis, but I think it's also true that the deliberately allowed abuse for political reasons. Trudeau has always preferred to be seen as the guy who gave you the money in your pocket. Even if he was the guy that took it out of your pocket first. Probably right but, the requirements were there and clear and a person appyling was supposed to meet all requirement. Thing is they never vetted, just paid out The problem was that they knew there was fraud but they never came after fraudsters till now. They waited too long. They gave notice 2 years ago and again last year so now they are starting to take action.
