The violent criminals who suddenly identify as Indigenous once in prison | National Post

However, some of Canada’s worst criminals are now telling Corrections Canada that they’re Indigenous in order to gain access to special, court mandated services for bona fide Indigenous prisoners. These services were created to tackle the worsening problem of Indigenous over-incarceration in Canada — but far from helping Native people, they’re helping non-Native organized crime. And the worst part is that Corrections Canada is playing along.

Well, I think we may have just solved the question of why the first nations incarceration rate is so high. It's because a lot of the first nations aren't first nations 🙄

Yet another woke policy that has led to a completely bad end.

Pretendians are something that the left is going to wake up to soon, because First Nations and Metis are rightfully upset by this phenomenon.

This is a problem, not just in prisons and not just for this government, this have s been ongoing for years but it has not been politically correct to call them out.
Universities have been "caught" giving professorships to pretend indigenous as well

1.  As I said, the "Indians" [pejorative used intentionally] are now calling on whites to assist in identifying the fakes.

I wonder if the same people who think you can't simply declare yourself to be an Indian and it be true also believe you can be a man and declare yourself a woman and it be true...

Yeah, I see that too.

Maybe it is time "Indians" do something for themselves for a change instead of having the "white man" doing everything for them? LOL

At some point no one will have 100% FN blood, or 100% caucasian blood, or African blood, etc.

The descendants of chiefs and whatnot will look more African or Caucasian or Asian than native.

Is Elizabeth Warren really a native? Is she not a native? There's a large grey area and it's only going to get larger.

I'm not really in favour of special treatment for prisoners by race because it's so arbitrary and foolish. Prison should be humane for everyone, but we also need the death penalty.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

If you are in jail, a judge or jury has determined you commuted a crime. White, black, brown or whatever race, you are in jail. You do not deserve  special jails or healing lodges (WTF is a "healing Lodge anyway...healing what??)

If they identified as trans and native  they would likely be hand fed grapes while being fanned by naked supermodels during lunch hour o_O

Transracialism is actually a thing that's been brought up before, with some people claiming they essentially feel they're a 'black person trapped in a white person's body', and claiming they just don't identify with their "race assigned at birth".

THe left wing community freaked out horribly at the idea.  But i kind of wonder if it won't make a return at some point.

You really want them to be in charge of giving the money out? Okay.

I'm actually not entirely opposed to that. Provided they were accountable in the same way that the government is accountable for spending its money and provided it was clear that any problems they have after that are their own and they can't blame the feds anymore then it would probably actually be beneficial to both groups.

I want them to do everything by and for themselves ..... like working, paying taxes, etc etc.

They have become (are) a welfare society and expect to be treated better.

They are 5% of the Canadian population (living off Canadian taxpayers) and make up 30% of the prison population.

I got that. Kind of off topic though.

Yeah, suppose so, sorry.

I just get wound up when I hear of "special" treatment of indians :(
